yeahhh, these customers....I hate to do flames and skulls all the time and then they want it in black...grrr....wish I could do some flowers, I love flowers....#$%^&&^%$#$ But the info on the "birds" was interesting, did not know that. I dig old shool tattoos, but also the more artsy new age stuff.....but I know by seeing some of your stuff that these panels are in good hands....when u sit down in your snow covered shack ( it snows all the time in Finnland...?) then you will come up with a super cool idea....have some Espresso...wait ( that's a different country...haha...) and than go for it!!! We all here want to see them finished panels....and who knows, maybe I do my wife's Chevy Tahoe panelsl one day ( with flowers...hoohuhahahaaa....) Good having you on here....me enjoy to talk to some one from "over there" Be gud and have fun Greetings from SW Virginia... Jimbob

And I would loose the basket wave too, haha....that's for saddles and horses... OK, ok...everybody has its own style....I just got carried away..heheee...but birds...???? Ok, I better quit. please let us see the finished door panels...promise!?? Have fun, with what ever you put on it... Greetings Jimbob!!

Hey Chris... There is no way that I know making a vest out of veg tan....exept maybe the new super soft stuff from Springfields....but might not tool well at all!! So I would make my vest nicely out of chrome tan and then make me a application out of a cut-out of veg tan....about 3-4 oz max...this will tool nice and you have any desigh you want...make it black and it will match ur vest assuming your vest is black to begin with......works tan on tan or tan on black...will look very sharp...gives that vest a custom look for shure....stitching can be bold and decorative or small undetectable fine 69 thread,,, Hand sewing the outline is not that big of a deaL.....The chrome tan and the 3-4 oz veg tan....should be easy able to be sewn ob a Singer 31 or 16 something...I got an extra Singer 188 and it would sew this just fine...what "old dirt" machine u got...? Keep us posted and let us know how you tackle this vest... Greetings Jimbob
