  14. i use the cardboard that comes with my HO, also i use a small piece of 2x4 i cut out some slots for the little dye bottles to fit in ,this has elimenated spilled dye bottles

  17. joe ,i have to disagree with you ,i've been a cobbler ,bootrepairman for 30 years i take care of my machines because their my bread and butter,i know many other ''cobblers'' all of them take care of their machines and tools its how we make our living,pancho

  19. also Carl i use feibings pro oil dye ,it doesnt leave as much excess to wipe off as regular feibings dye.thanks

  21. just strip off with deglazer,put 3 coats of feibings pro dye one right after the other let dry over night wipe down with a clean cloth then spray 2 to 3 light coats of nu-life color spray ,let dry over night then final thing put leather balm and buff to a good shine ,thats the way ive done it and always had good results. you might try a small piece if your not totally sure,good luck
  22. the mckay is mostly used for sewing the soles on mens shoes,the needle passes thru the sole and insole so theirs a stitch line inside of shoe. the curved needle sticher is used to sew soles on boots or shoes with welts
