  1. just saw a stitchinghorse pattern, how to make one on ebay, is it wotrh it? buying I mean, does anyone of you bought it yet?

      You might try to message Goldwing, I believe he made one from curly maple using a pattern from ebay, it might be the same one?--Worth asking him any way, and you can see what he thinks.

      The Al Stohlman book the Art of HAndSewing has horse plans in the back, and several have said they liked it too. I've also seen a set of plans someone uploaded here as a pdf.

      I bought a set of plans off ebay an they are probably the same ones. If so they are good if you want to build a nice horse.

      The plans in the Al Stohlman Art of Hand Sewing book are easy to follow and you can add things like a padded seat! I added wheels so it could be easily moved around the workshop. TapTapTap

  3. Hey Jim, Holler holler holler, LOL. Thanks for the patterns, they're great, neih fabulous. I check wit silver creek leather and they redirected me to another website. There some 10-ish patterns of you, so I'll try there. In my book you're like will ghormley, on the same page ;-). Hopefully I don't offend you with this? Hey Jim, I would like to make the same thing with flapholster (civil war or indian war model -- only have the civilwar model holster), but was thinking to place 2 straps of 2 inches on either sides on the topside of the holsters and a strap with a buckle on the underside of the holsters. would this help?   16. Howdy fellow crafters, I would like to make myself a christian fait weather belt M1874, now I was wondering how many loops are there exactly on the belt? I made a few gun rigs for other peeps, but here I always asked the peeps how many loops they wanted and made these rigs with the quantity of loops they wanted. Is there anyone uphere that maybe has a realy genuine christian fait weather belt and that can help me with the question, how many loops are there on the belt? cheers, GUnter
