  1. Hey Nine, I saw your football pictures on the forum's main page. Looks good! I checked out the tandy site for the football kit. $64 is a little pricey
  2. Good idea Dwight!
  3. Thanks Camano...I'm looking for the 4 panel template that I can sew together after I carve and dye it just like some of the baseballs I've seen on the forum.
  4. I want to make and carve a football commemorating this season for my son's JV head coach. That's American football. Does anyone have a template? Thanks, John
  5. I bought most of my tool on ebay. You can get good deals if your patient.
  6. Nice work! Very clean!
  7. Facebook automatically reduces your large photos to smaller sized ones. If you have any "photo" software, you can reduce the size. I think it can even be done on "window paint" which is a basic program on most windows driven pc's.
  8. Really nice! That leatherman won't ever fall out of it's sheath.

  10. Would you use this tape for constructing sheaths and holsters?
  11. I dilute fiebings dye from 4:1 to 6:1. I learned this the hard way!
  12. www.instructable.com/id/Leather-plague-Doctor-Mask/ I know I saw someone looking for this and I just ran across it.
  13. "A Bit" is quite and understatement! Looks great!
  14. Looks like you solved the "take a knife to a gunfight" scenario!
  15. I have not had any of those issues, but I'm also not making saddles with it. I'm a pretty strong guy. I haven't noticed any more stretching than tiger thread, and I often pull my thread too tight. For $8, it works for me.
  16. Thanks Tom...That's it. I'm interested in others opinions who have tried this thread.
  17. Cool! I like it!
  18. I am just about out of my spool of Tiger thread. I have a source a couple hours away at $60+ a spool. I wasn't driving that direction, so I searched on Ebay. I bought spool from a Hong Kong supplier for $8 delivered. I was very surprised when it arrived and I tried it for the first time. It is a braided thread just like Tigers. I will be using this thread from now on. I can't tell any difference between the 2. In my opinion, If Tiger thread is a 10, then this stuff is a 9+. I'm not able to copy the ebay link, but the description is "Black 240yd Flat Heavy Duty waxed thread for leather tent fabric hand sewing New"
  19. Nice work! I checked out your face book page as well. I really like your knives too. Are you a member of bladeforums.com?
