Andies Clone Bags
BlackRivet replied to lightningad's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Nicely done. Don't you love the feeling of trying to make something for the first time? We learn so much. Your bags turned out wonderfully! -
Looks great, Deborah! I recently bought a digital copy of Al Stohlman's Art of make leather cases, volume 1. The first 20-30 pages discuss techniques about attaching straps to items, O and D ring methods, and a lot of information that could be translated into variety for cuffs and collars like this. I highly recommend checking it out.

Fantastic work. You did a great job separating the red parts from the black.

Thanks for this! I see many ways I can improve my own methods.

Skiving Knife Sheath
BlackRivet replied to Killerkaney's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
That's a great design. The blade shape is pretty awkward, sheathing it is a challenge that you have triumphed over. -

It's home is actually at the top of my stairs, coming in to the apartment. It's the first things visitors see when coming in, and the affect is hilarious >:D

Just finished this mask half an hour ago. I was inspired by some trent/tree/bark textured masks my fellow leatherworkers have made, and tried it out. I'm happy how it turned out, aside from the nose bridge being too short!
