  1. You saddle makers always impress me with the work that you do. Very nice carving on this one. Great job. Ken
  2. Looks like a pretty cool tool, but boy is it expensive. Ken
  3. Sorry Johanna, that domain name is already taken. ken
  4. Rawhide and Wolvie have given you EXCELENT advice. While doing my sentence, I lived with a very large number of people that do exactly what they said. They would steal your wallet or whatnot with your identity papers in it, then take notes or pictures of it. They would also use an electronic device to take the information off you credit cards, even your drivers licence if it has a magnetic stripe on the back. With this, they are able to "Become" you to a bank or credit issueing company. Identity theft is the fastest growing crime these days, and you have to make sure that there is a "Fraud Alert" put on your credit bureau. Ken
  5. If you go to www.downloads.com you can download Macromedias full line of webdesign software for a 30 day free trial, all the functions work. Ken
  6. I feel for ya Wolvie, I do hope that you can get it all worked out. By the way, I thought you were going to go with a Dragon design on your seats? Ken
  7. As Wolvie says, I don't know much about holsters, other than they hold guns. One thing I do see is the belt loop holes. What I'd do with these is to use a large round punch to make the top and bottom of the slot, the using a sharp knife and steel ruler, cut the sides of the slots. This will give you are cleaner looking slot. Also the strap could be burnished. Ken
  8. Hey Wolvie, glad I could help without helping..LOL Ken
  9. That's very nice. How long does it take to make one of those? Ken
  10. Other than the thread color I think it looks perfectly fine. For a first time, you have all the basics down. Don't be so hard on yourself. Ken
  11. My tinfoil hat is off to you, very kind jesture. Don't ya just love this place and the people that hang out here? Ken
  12. I saw that on your website, love the color. Ken
  13. Wolvie, I hate to be the one to tell ya...but...Damned shame to have to cut all that lace out. I'm pretty sure what you're going to have to do is, start over and add 2/2" to 3/4" to the overall dimenssions to make up for the lace seams. Ven if you were to soak the @#*%! out of it, the chance of the basket weave getting screwed up is very good, and when it comes time to lace the front to the back, you're going to have problems. The only other way I can think of to rectify it without having to scrap the leather, is to use a basic "X" cross lacing as you see on a lot of Beezas seats. That will give you much more room for the corners to actually become rounded. One other thing, the person riding on the back is going to feel that lacing digging into thier back all the time. Ken
  14. I'm with rdb as well, way to dark. Also, if you're planning on doing that style of lacing, you should use a round hole that's just a bit smaller than the lace. With the slotted holes, your going to get "Lace Wear" and as you go along lacing, the lace gets thinner as you can tell from the picture. By using a round hole, the friction is far less, and your lace will pretty much stay the same width all the way along. I usually only pull about 5 feet of lace at a time as well, this also helps to reduce the friction wear as you're lacing. Ken
  15. Marlon, that looks real good. Where did you get the Masonic symbol? I have a friend that would love one of those, his company logo kind of incorporates it into the name. Ken
