  1. Great looking bag Marcel, and for your first project and hand stitching I say you did a marvelous job. Keep it up. Ken
  2. Very nice looking wraps. They probably come in handy when you're rolling around and someone tries to bite your wrist I'll bet. Ken
  3. Hey Curtis, thought you may have gotten snowed under down there. Those are some nice clean looking belts. What leather did you use for the? the inside looks very smooth and clean. Ken
  4. Riger, other than the black, I like it. All seems to have worked out in the end. There does'nt seem to be any scrunching or wrinckles like you were saying. I had the same problem with that Corbin seat I just did, took forever to get it to form around those tight curves without wrinkles. I thought it was going to get wrecked from all the wetting. Ken
  5. Very nice looking Wolvie, when's the next Holdem game? I'm always in. Ken
  6. Tom, that is absolutely amazing, I just love it. Great work there, and thanks for sharing. Ken
  7. Jordan, those look quite nice, the watchband turned out realy nice. Ken
  8. Tae, I have'nt seen a square punch either. The aluminium square tube would probably be a bit to soft for smashing through enough leather to make a Scrabble board. I think you would want to go with square structural tubing that has an ID of 1" x 1" or there abouts. This way when you sharpen the edges to make a punch, it will keep and edge to some degree, and when you smash it with a mallet, it wont colapse on you. Ken PS: Can't wait to see the Scrabble Board.
  9. People like that are a treasure to find. Great story, and say "Hi Mom" for me as well. Ken
  10. What you have to do, is "Highlight" the word or phrase that you want them to click. Then at the top of the post editing window, you will see a little green + sign beside the underscored U. Click on this and it will pop up a little window that you can put the URL address into, then click enter, and it's done. Ken
  11. Now that is VERY nice, the color is perfect, and I love that little extra touch you add as an accent on the top of the sheath opening. Thanks for sharing the pics. Ken
  12. You can probably get someone like Beezachopper to help you out the next time they order. Ken
  13. Very nice knife, but I think the sheath is a bit light..LOL Ken
  14. Jason, the problem you would have with dying a complete Roo hide, is that you will not get complete color saturation. This will mean that the edge and back of your lace is going to be the same natural color as when you started. What I have done in the past, and is very messy, is to take a small tupperware container, puch two holes in the sides across from each other. Then put a cut piece of coat hanger through the holes. Fill the tupperware with dye to just above the coat hanger. Then you can slowly pull the cut lace throught the dye, using the coat hanger bar to hold the lace under the dye level. As I said, this is messy, but it does work. Ken
  15. I've used the Tandy Petite Tooloing Calf before. Part number is 9154-00, it's 1 to 1.5 OZ and comes in 5 to 9 sq. ft. or so. Ken
  16. Here's a picture that may help you. First scribe a line 1/4" in from your edge. Using this as a guide, you can punch the slots on the angle you need. To get the "Accordingly" you want the second slot punched, with the bottom edge of the tool lined up with the top of the previous slot. As shown in picture. Hope this helps. Bad picture taker. Ken
  17. Thanks Johanna for your dedication and hard work on this site. You are the BESTEST

  18. Excelent work Kate, what would we do without people like you and Johanna to keep this great site up and running. Thanks

  19. Rather than using the multi toothed punch, you have to use the single toothed and space the holes accordingly. If you look at this post you will see what I mean in the picture ClayB has attached to the post. Click here Ken
  20. WOW...no I mean WOOOOOW. Clay, you have mentioned in another post about having work by the "Masters" on your wall. Well Clay, in my humble opinion, you are one of the "Masters". That is just awesome. I am curious, did you emboss it as well, if soo, how? Ken
  21. Welcome aboard YR, it's great you came back after the "Incident". Am looking forward to seeing your work. Ken
  22. Clay, congrats. That's a very nice looking wallet, and a great example of how that style of lacing should look. Ken
  23. Very nice looking Rob, i'm wanting to learn this braiding thing, it intriques me greatly. Ken
  24. Well that's about the neatest thing I've seen in a while, very well done Kani. Ken
  25. Corter, your wallets are very nice, this one especially. The stitching is very good as well. I would also like to know where and what leather you are using, as it looks like extremely good leather. Ken
