Beeza, You have to stop teasing us with that seat I see in the background... Ken

I agree with the Major and Johanna as well. I learned from one person to immerse, then when the person that taught me pretty much everything I know now first saw me immersing a piece of leather...his 16 oz mallet almost took my ear off. needless to say I use a spray bottle now with Dawn soap added...just a few drops. Ted, I would sujest that you take a piece of Oak or some other wood (preferably a hardwood) and drill a mess of holes into it. That way you can arrange the tools in such a way that they are more organized. Like tools in one row with smaller to larger. Ken

buttery, Are you saying that you are going to put a piece of leather through an inkjet printer? If so, and you have one that is capable of accepting the leather, then all you have to do is purchase water resistant ink cartridges for the printer. If not the saddle lac or neat lac is the way to go. Ken

Ed, Well having been an engineer for 22 years in a previous life my advice to you is: 1. Go to home depot and buy one of their 22w circline bulb adapters that go into a regular light socket, take the magnetic transformer out of that and use it in my nonfunctioning worklamp. Since I would be taking the transformer from a 22w adapter, I know the specs are correct. Which is exactly what you said first in your post. I also checked with a master electrician just to be sure before I told you this. Ken

Larry, You do some VERY BEAUTIFUL work, those straps are just wonderful. Looking at them makes me want to learn how to make them, as I live in Calgary...Canada's Rodeo Capital, and home of the Calgary Stampede. If I could make them as Beautiful as you do...I'd get rich here... Keep up the great work. Ken

llasso, That is some VERY fine work you do there, I'm extremely impressed with the spur straps. Ken

I'd be willing to give odds that it will be black...now that would put it into the ugly catagory... but not because of your work. Ken
-
Well it is BIG, but it definetly isn't ugly....very nice work again David, are you going to dye it? Ken
-
