    Help With Braid

Hello all I want to make a simple 4 part round braid for a biker style wallet instead of a chain. I understand the braiding part but my question is how to finish it. I plan on starting with (2) 1/4" strands ran through belt loop clasp to give me 4 strands to braid but no sure how or terminology of how to secure key ring on other end. Any help with terminology or suggestions would be great. P.S. simple preferred as I don't do much braiding. Thank you all in advance
  9. Hello all Just delivered a newly designed 6" wallet. It has 4 card slots and a zippered pocket. As always laced with Kangaroo. BTK= Billy the Kid not the serial killer!!!!haha
  10. I have a customer that wants a white belt with tooling...I have never had any luck with the white dye as it sucks. Has anyone purchase any white maybe drum dyed leather before? I thought about using acrylic paint but not sure if it will hold up. Any help here would be great
  11. looks great the only thing I see is that the zipper opens from bottom of wallet to top. I install my zippers the other way. Color and construction look awesome to me.
  12. BillyMac the pockets are made of nylon and glued. They are individual and in the shape of a "U" Keeps the bulk down. Andy I use #5 zipper I usually buy in bulk from Springfield or Tandy and cut to length. I cut the zipper the full width of the pocket then cut out just the teeth and leave the nylon material after the opening in the leather. This is so when I stich them the ends also get stitched. If you are only doing one you can get a nice brass zipper at Johann's for around 4 bucks and look online usually a 40% off coupon every week. You're in La Vern we are pretty close I'm in Hemet maybe about hour or so from each other. I really like the briefcases you make they look great.
  13. Just finished these up today. Yoda is for a customer's grandson and the giant M is for a customer named Michael. As always made with HO 5 oz leather and kangaroo lace.
  14. I use snow seal with good results. I apply it then use heatgun to melt into leather. The water beads up real nice after
