  1. Great looking Bag. Have you tried the "fiebing edge coat", it is made in brown and black. also you might contac Weavers and ask about there edge coatings, i think theirs is a thicker product. What type of sewing machine did you use to sew the bag.

  6. The Triple would cover the edge more than the Double Loop.... But if you really want to do a Fablous stich Search for the "SPANISH ROUND BRAID" THIS IS THE BEST.
  7. I beleive 800-1000 would be right....if it is too fast i caint get a good burnish.
  8. THIS I DO KNOW....I have a small Drill Press from Harbor Freight and the Belt drive is on the Middle Position. so this works for me.

  10. PURELY FOR DECORATION POURPOSES ONLY................ WHY NOT ATTACH A LINING AND THEN SEW ,YOU WILL HAVE A LASTING AND DURABLE BELT.
  11. I beleive if you can find this product"MONTANA PITCH BLEND" it will make the items WATER REPLENT. THEN AGAIN TEST ON A SMALL AREA.......another product is the "Irish Setter Brand" found at thr Red Wing Shoe stores.

  16. very ....very nice, pains must have been taken to work with the red suewd (sp) leather. what type of gold paint did you use ?
  17. hello there ,the Push Beveler will fine for beveling borders of belts but i don't believe it will work for you when you are beveling around Letters or Flowers. it did not for me. i m h o
  18. I have no problem sewing with my 31-15, I do use a tri point needle and size 92 thread the patch machine is a god send for sewing patches on pockets or where there is an inside pocket. ..........happy sewing........

  20. Ray, there are some times that you have to use different tools for the job at hand. it took me two years of searching to find the right foot press to set tubular rivetts. Mainly the price was a factor in getting this one. it would have been a very hard task to set the rivets with a maul and setting tool on these tool pouches.
  21. Richard , that is a great looking bag .... must have been a lot of lacing time in it. PS... why would you have reversed the Lacing pattern on the flap ? just courious.

  23. Beautiful smoke color ???? dont know, But if you are up to expermenting try Rit Dye in the "Taup color". if you are making frontier clothes dont worry about the wrinlkes. they will weare out.
