    yes just Glue and use a press. But the glue to use is not Barge Cement. right now i cannot think of the name. But is is made for rubber and vinal products. anyway you are on track now.

    I USE AN END GRAIN PC OF WOOD, AFTER THE PUNCHES HAVE BEEN RE-SHARPENED, THEN I POLISH THEM ON A BUFFING WHEEL. ALSO I HAVE A BLOCK OF PARAFIN CLOSE BY TO PUSH THE PRONGS IN EVER SO OFTEN. TRY IT...........I USE A RAWHIDE MAUL.....MO METAL TO HAMMER WITH.

    LISTEN..........IF YOU WANT TO LEARN TO SADDLE STICH......BUY THE BOOK "HAND SEWING" by AL STOLHMAN, AND FORGET THAT speedy sticher sewing awl. now that said. Learn to saddle stich with an awl and 2 needles. then buy what you started to buy and sew with it, then let us know which you like better.
