  2. Draggrim.... now that you have found the Good Stuff ,try the Chocolate Oil Dye. a dark brown no red cast to it.

  10. a very Old Style fastner, one would weare the sheath under the Belt, with a hole punch in the Belt, that is where the post would go in .

  12. [ Have not posted any of my work lately so thought it was time again. Sheaths turned out great. (dont you just love your sewing Machine when it does not skip a stich) The Large Knife is a "Randall Made" and the one at the bottom is a "Van Voorhees"....
  13. Buy a good grade of leather, case it well, start pounding.......
  14. as far as i know......fold the leather around a pc of Nylon cord and have a cording foot on your sewing machine. then stich stich close to the cord. then on the other hand try 8-10 oz leather 1/2" wide and wet and pull thru a Rein Rounder several times this might work.

  18. Daggrim have you thought about trying the Angelus Dyes. there is a lot of browns that you will like, the dark brown has no "red cast" to it..
  19. Won't work..... not enought pressure. Try the Previal Sprayers, they will work fine, great for Large areas , Belts & Bilfolds

  23. BLACK WAXY BRIDLE LEATHER ? WHAT I WOULD DO IS BURNISH THE EDGES WITH BEES WAX ON THE MOTORIZED BURNISHER. THEN COAT THE EDGES WITH SUPER SHEEN OR RESOLINE.
  24. I was told it Keeps your shirt cuffs clean.....and when you are roping cattle it will keep your wrist from gettind a Bad Rope Burn . they also good on you in Town on Saturday Nite.
  25. if they want it.... call the Memphis Tandy Store and ask Jo if it is still there. i saw one side last week. She did not know what it was,it looked like Latigo to me but it was on rhe firm side.
