Angelus Makes a fine product. there was a time here when there was an independet
leather craft dealer and he carried the complete line of angelus products. one of
my favorite dyes was brown it was a true brown with no red cast to it.
I WOULD LOVE TO FIND A QUART OF ANGELUS MAGHONY ANTIQUE.
rdb.........if the 31-15 is sewing good LEAVE IT ALONE. mine was made in 1941 ,it has the original
clucth and it sews fine.
I receently came across a consew cylender arm machine ,bought a new table and had a servo motor
installed. dont like it. it is noisy and there is a hair line adjustment that goes fast and faster.
the folks i bought it from will take a look at it to see if there is a problem with the motor.
another mechanic told me he has seen problems with them. after xmas i will have time to get all this
corrected..........

you can buy leather from them in various colors and to get the best deal,
get the saddle skirting and have it split to your exact weight that you would want.

TAKE A PC OF WOOD THE SIZE OF THE STRIPE DIP IT IN BLACK DYE
JUST GO DOWN THE STRAP TOUCHING THE WOOD WITH THE DYE ON THE STRAP.
THEN OVER SPRAY WITH A DILUTED RED DYE THEN FINISH OFF WITH SUPER SHEEN.
NOW YOU WILL PRACTICE BEFORE YOU DO THE REAL STRAP?

a gool machine that will enable you to sew leather is not cheap.......
learn to hand stich, save your money, then buy a good sewing machine.
talk to the folks at Artisan they will help you out.
This has came up before, make one or a few ,no problem, make a lot of them sell everywhere
make a lot of $$$ you will get caught and will have to pay the Piper...
