  1. Yesterday afternoon I counted 17 seconds to load the main page. 10 seconds to load the main page now. As a referance, craigslist loads in less than one second.
  2. I use sewing machine needles as drill bits.
  3. Better than yesterday but not up to speed like it was when you first did the update. A little faster than before the update. I have no readings or anything official, just what I see loading and how long it takes each time you change pages.
  4. Your work looks great. How big are the slots? They look shorter than a card is. You must be in another country (not sure what lvov means). That is a wallet here. Aaron
  5. Another thing you might think of doing. Cover a real helmit.
  6. Your helmits are awsome. Can not comment on Sturgis, but none of the mini helmits the bikers wear are DOT approved. They just buy stickers that say that they are.
  7. I don't know what you changed/added yesterday but something sure anchored the loading speed. Things have been running faster every since the update. Now the brakes are on again.
  8. It will work. I use a flat piece behind the holster (flat plexi usually) to keep the back from pulling forward. Use the lined side of the bag to the rear or you will get bad texture. Push fast and hard as it is drawing down.
  9. Is this differant than the stuff they have had for some time? It looked like white glue but was a contact glue. Aaron
  10. Big sewing machine needles make great holes. Either in the dremal or drill press, both work. Aaron
  11. That was one of the first things I noticed. This site has always loaded horibly slow every since you did the last update. The speed is better now. Aaron
  12. The one on the left is correct. Aaron
  13. Center shader and a leaf liner. Aaron
  14. I have two of them. Both bought off Craigs List. The 29K4 was $275 and the 29K60 was $375 A 29 4 is likely the least valuable of all the patchers. If it is worn out and will only make short stitches it is worth a lot less. They show up around here a lot for the $300-$500 range. Aaron
  15. I think you answered your own question. You have a bad piece of leather. You should replace it with one of better quality. If you do use it for something whatever you make will likely fail in a short time.
  16. I have learned an imense amount from Chan. I have attended a number of classes over the last few years with him. He is an awsome teacher. He was up in the Seattle area a few months ago. Will be in Pendleton in November. Aaron
  17. I would lay it flat on a paper towell. The towell will wick out some of the oil over time. Aaron
  18. Leather biker babes. Mmmm
  19. Chan Geer was in town the last few days, we made a notebook. Aaron
  20. The man made will work, but is slightly softer than the granite. I am taking a guess here but I would guess it is in the area of marble density. BUT! You can get a Chinese pre polished stone counter top 8' long for about $125 if you look. It will be finished on the front and one side, not on the other side (if it bothers you buy the pads and hand polish the other end for about andother $150 of so). Makes an awsome bench top. You were talking to a high end kitchen counter top manufacture. Not where you want to be for a workbench top. Aaron
  21. I built a knife with a leather handle. Aaron
  22. To me it looks like the top tension is too loose and or the bottom is too tight. And you have an oversized needle for the thread. Just my guess, I am not an expert.
  23. I ordered a copy. I have no talent.
  24. Bobby, Interesting that they not only altered the color but also trimed of fthe boarder. When I got the magazine the first thing I thought was that it was odd that there was no boarder or edge on the carving. I have not yet read through so I did not yet see it was your work. Congratulations. What new book? Details please. Aaron
  25. You can put color under the neet laq, but it might disolve it. Not sure, everything I make is brown. Antique needs to be over the neet laq or your leather will look like mud.
