Yes I did reboot. Uninstalled all updates, logged off and back on, waved a chicken foot over my screen, blew some incense over the buttons and kicked it ....still vertical
About 3 weeks ago all the post titles changed to vertical , hard to read, everything else is normal. Using samsung tablet. Any ideas to fix it ?
Thanks
Dave
Just finished this wristlet for my wife. It is made with 8-10 oz black latigo leather, it's 5 inches high 7 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Latigo lace. Something small for when we are on the motorcycle. Comments are always appreciated.
Having a couple problems and hoping you could help. When I open the forums the fonts for the title is one string and vertical, and when I open the box for comments I only get the click to choose file box, I cant enter text.
Using phone and or tablet. I have refreshed, logged off and back on. Problem started about 2 weeks ago. Ive used the same tablet since ive joined with no problem.
I spent a few years looking for an H&R sportsman 22 pistol I finally found one last summer. A few months ago I ran across the book how to make a holster by Al Stohlman and in it was the pattern for the H&R Sportsman so I had to try it. I made this one out of 8 ounce drum died latigo.I wasn't crazy about the flowers in the design but I used them anyway , next time I will use something different. I thought the pattern was too small but after completing it the pistol fit perfect. Thanks for looking and comments are always appreciated.
Well I have never weighed one before....but I have now . This bag weighs in at 1 lb. We ride motorcycles and these bags are made for taking the basics along on the ride. The latigo is off 8 to 10 oz. Overall its not a full 10 oz.
Thanks for looking...
Dave
Yes its drum dyed latigo. It actually tools really nice. I have some bags and holsters out there well over a year and a half and the tooling still looks crisp. The trade off is its hard to get detail to stand out with solid black. I'm influenced by amish leather workers so I like the black and nickel.
This is a small handbag I just finished up. Its 8x6x2 made from 10oz black latigo, open unlined interior with a mystry braid snap on handle. Fun project. Thanks for looking and comments are always appreciated.
I made a couple of these daily planner binders with good results. This one is my first attempt at inlays. I used the plug method I read about on here. I attached the cardboard stiffner over the plugs with weldwood contact cement. I attached the liner with weldwood also but before I could get to the lacing around the edges I noticed the liner was bunching up and wrinkling in the middle when I closed the binder. Thinking I might of had some air pockets I pulled the liner off and reglued it, let it set overnight and got the same wrinkling as before. What am I doing wrong ?
Thank
Dave
I made a couple of these daily planner binders with good results..however this one is my first attempt at an inlay using the plug method i read about in a post on here. I added the cardboard stiffner over the plugs using weldwood contact cement..so far so good. I then used the weldwood to attach the liner and before I could do the lacing around the edges I noticed the liner was bunching up in the middle when closing the binder. I pulled the liner off thinking I had air bubbles and re glued, let it set overnight and as you can see from the wrinkles in the liner it bunched up in the middle again when i close it. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Dave
I have read these post with great interest and would like to say thank you for asking the question and thank you for taking the time to provide such insightful answers. If I have heard once I have heard a hundred times people say "do you know how much money you can get selling these things that you make ? At this point I can say yes I do know .......0. It is very hard to get the right product in the right market for the right price.
