Hello Johnnysignor, thanks for getting back with me. It helped me to know that there is no trick, but lots of practice to achieve this precision. I am an artist for 30+ years, doing mostly abstract BIG paintings (4x6 ft and bigger) where I use brushes 2inches wide and bigger. And it is messy. So I am totally on the other end of the spectrum when it comes to neatness. Being so attracted to your work shows me, that it is time for some discipline. It is wonderful that you make so many veterans happy with your patches. I bet that a thankful smile from a veteran is worth much more, than hard dollars in a wallet. Thanks again, Sir. I appreciate your input. Isabel - Itch's wife

Sir, this is Itch's wife. Your patches are so clean and very crisp. How did you do it? Is it painted by hand on the leather? I made a guitar strap once for a friend, who wanted "in memoriam RANDY RHODES" on it. So I stamped the letters on a second piece of black leather, painted the letters red, and outlined it white. It looked like a 3 year old made it. But he liked it anyway, and I cut around it, and sewed it onto the strap. I am glad he is far away on stage, and nobody gets close...;0 I used acrylic paint, but just got leather paint from Dharma Trading Company. Any suggestions on what to use, and how? I would say that becoming about 10% as clean as your work is, would be a big progress for me. Thank you, Isabel

Here in the USA we have www.blueguns.com Good luck..

When we make a 2 ply belt we do it as mentioned above. How ever the buckle end will only be 1 ply,I stop the 2nd ply about where the keeper would be to prevent the "buckle to bulge" .. The same way that it takes a little time to break in a holster you will need to break in our Gun Belts..

Source For 4" 1911 Mold?
Itch replied to BHPshooter's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Do you leave the bottom of your holsters open ? If so buy a 5" and just use it...... -
Something that has been bothering me in a strange way but I am not loosing any sleep over it. I have been in business for myself and have learned a lot of valuable lessons for over 30 years. We have been in the leather business for a little over 10 years and I am still surprised at the amount of uneducated customers. With saying this I made a shoulder rig for a customer and he sent the rig back with a letter. He stated that the rig was nice and comfortable, fit his firearm and that he loved the workmanship but he would not use it because he claimed the finish was so nice that it was not Real Leather. Now I will tell you that for holsters we only use Wicket and Craig "and this is not meant to be an advertisement for them" but we have never used bonded leather.. So my point being I guess is that if this guy were to get on some gun forum or something that I do not use real leather I would be upset to say the least.. We did send an email back to him but never received a reply..

As small as that is you should be able to draw it on a piece of paper scan it and email it to some die companies for a price. Put all of the dimensions on it and you should be all good..
