Well You get what you pay for is what I have learned.. Like I said in my post.. It just works.. I would recommend tossing the thick blades that come with most of these tools and find the thinnest blade that you can get by with. Here at the shop we will grind the back side of the blades down and intentionally break them in half if need be.

We are located in the US and ship world wide almost daily. We only ship USPS as we are 70 km s from Fed Ex or UPS... Once the package leaves the US it is almost impossible to track, but 90% of the time the package will usually make it to the destination. dId Texas die issue you a tracking #,insure the package,or tell you who they used as a shipping agent ? How long has the package been missing ?

I have tried a bunch here and there and keep coming back to my Weaver Master tool draw gauge. It is cocked slightly and just seems to work much better for me.

I don,t know how that is done but.. I will keep an eye out for it..

You may want to contact Pfaff in Germany as I do think that they have parts or information for your Fortuna ..

I wore an ankle holster when I lived in Key West many years ago. It was lined with sheepskin and also had another strap that went above the calf muscle. The strap would help keep the holster and whole deal in place.. Just a suggestion,ditch the buckle and use velcro that way one size will fit all... Good Luck to you.

If it was me I would just put some Aussie Or Skidmores on it,and pass on the dye ..

I do not think that a rubber hammer will work. A heavy solid hammer will work ,it just get's a little dangerous hitting metal with metal.. That is why the mauls are nylon or something close.. Take your time and you will do just fine.. There are a Good bunch of people here with a lot of good info..

Good luck finding grommets with a longer hub or what ever you want to call it.. On the few occasions that I needed something longer I was able to skive the leather around the grommet to make that area thinner,but was not easy and may not alway's be practical..

This wood is very hard as when I lived in the Florida Key's it would grow here and there.. Nice work..

Guy's Thank you all for the replies.. My biggest trouble is when trying to put edge coat or dye on the inside of belt slots on High ride and pancake holsters.. Usually can get 1 or 2 nice clean swipes and then the swabs start to head South.. I will check on some small foam applicators.

Q Tips and all of the others I have tried recently just do not hold up anymore.. I use them for applying dye and edge coat on holsters and other products and they just unravel ending up making a mess if not real careful.. Any one try the wooden stick ones with better results?

For holsters and belt,s we use an Artisan 3000 and a Sewpro which are both 441 clones... They both get used a lot and have worked well for us.

We use a wood stove to heat our shop..Holsters and projects are are lined up around the shelving..
