  2. We manufacture a lot of leather products for the aftermarket motorcycle industry,a good place to start is with some good Latigo leather.Second I would suggest Aussie,Skidmores,or a product which contains a good amount of beeswax.Good luck..

  6. We treat a lot of our products with that Aussie and Skidmores before it leaves our shop.As both products contain oils and bees wax ,I would say that you will not be able to put much of any thing on top of it..
  7. We live in a rural area and the Post office is a mile away. They tell us that we ship so many packages that we are responsible for keeping them open..
  8. I contacted Mat at Wicket and Craig where I purchase my holster leather.I did tell him as much as I knew about the product..The fella that mixes the chemicals said that it had more than just alcohol in it.So if any body has the material sheet and would care to forward it to me greatly appreciated. As we go through about 5 gallons a month I have never received any info about this product..
  9. Ray You did have the correct address.as I stated I had to give up doing business with him and his brother because they are so hard to get a hold of.I will tell you that if you continue to write to them that they will get back with you eventually. They do make some very nice stuff. You have my # feel free to give me a call.Larry

  19. Resurrecting this old thread..... Weaver leather firmer. I use a lot of this product and am very happy with the results that I get.I am just not happy with the $30.00 a gallon price. Can anybody recommend where to find this in bulk ? If you still have the data sheet I would sure like to have a look at it. Over the years I have tried a few other things like witch hazel but the best results I have found are with this Weaver product..Thank you Larry
  20. There is a product called saddle lac.I do think that it is a sealer and that is what I was told.I had a buddy that had a motorcycle seat that was black with a couple of orange flames. We put black dye on the seat a couple of cats and then spayed a few coats of this over it but eventually it would bleed off. That was our experiance with it..Good luck. Sice you are in to old scoots here is a picture of my 49 flathead..

  22. Watch what you buy the aluminum ones as they are junk..Years ago while looking I thought that these would work..They strip out very easily..Good luck.
