  1. Here's some pictures of the finished bible cover. Don't know about the antiquing on the figure carving. Anyway it's done and my A/C tech will be happy since he fixed my A/C last summer. Nice to be able to barter for services. Learned alot on this project. Ready to try a Badled Eagle busting out of a American flag airbrushed on one of my tournament backgammon boards.
  2. Had to try them again. Not sure how much better they are. St. Peter looks like he might make it tough to get thru the Pearly Gates. Faces are turning out to be pretty tough to make look good.
  3. Hi James. I worked on the beard a little bit. Here is a picture of the back of the bible cover. Still have a hard time even seeing the faces with serious cheaters on so the faces are difficult. I will keep trying on the figure carving but it is mostly frustrating. Thanks Tim
  4. Hi. Thanks. The outside is 3/4 oz. and all the inside is 2/3 oz. all from Tandy. The manger at the store near me is an old buddy I played pro soccer with back in the 80's. Really wanting try some of the Herman Oak. Thanks again Tim
  5. Hi. Yes the left side is an expandable pocket. This notepad holder was for a real estate broker, one pocket for cards and one pocket for clients cards. Pen and pencil holder. The outside is 3/4 oz. with a 2/3 oz. liner. The expandable pocket is out of 2/3 oz. with a nylon liner and a piece of thin poster board for a liner. The outside has a stiffener like the back of a note pad. Here is a picture of another one with the same pocket. Sorry about the picture. It's an old one before I figured out how to size them. Be glad to help any way I can. Thanks Tim

  8. This is my first attempt at any kind of figure carving. Any advice from the figure carvers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tim
  9. Any way I can help, Let me know. That pattern is the same as the cover of the Tandy leather Sheridan Style Carving. I drew the pattern to fit what I needed but used the cover as a reference. That cover is as good as it gets for Sheridan style carving. After you draw a couple you will get the idea. Let me know how you want me to send it. Thanks Tim
  10. Hi. Thanks. The outside is 3/4 oz and the inside is 2/3 oz. I put a cardboard stiffner in it with a 1/2" strip of leather around the edges to make it look a little thicker. The light weight leather helps keep it light. Thanks again. Tim
