  1. Well Folks, Here are the "action" shots. Sorry about the pic quality. By the way, She loves this pouch, and her friends are jealous.
  2. Thanks VonTannin, I thin it out (a lot) and do multiple coats = no streaking or clumping or bald spots. Then I go over the edges/creases once more with a really fine brush and dye. Amen Gamber.
  3. Thanks everyone for the kind words. I really appreciate it.
  4. Thanks, and will do, Tree. Once it gets where its going, I have asked for pictures of it in action. I'll post those as soon as they come in.
  5. Just finished this... Its a hair stylists pouch, with 5 interior pouches for 3 scissors, a straight razor, and a comb. The name plate doubles as a barrette holder. There is a belt loop, and an attached belt for two styles of wear. The front carving is a representation of her tattoos. Thanks for looking.
  6. Awesome work Bev, it looks to me like you never left the craft. Welcome.
  7. Howdy from a former Cali kid.
  8. Thanks Studio-N. I got into the habit of making a template/pattern for every project I do, in case someone else wants something like it. I have a feeling I may, indeed, use this one again. "Monkey purse" has a nice ring to it. he he he.
  9. I'm with JD. I had to file down the leftover casting bits on the edges of all my stamps so that they would sit flush with each other an that made a world of difference in the finished project. I am also with Treereeper, you have to use a fence (if using the hammer method), with out a fence its a free for all.
  10. Thanks Slick. It really was a fun project. One of those, "hmm wonder if I can..." sort of things. I guess I know now.
  11. Thanks, Rosi and 5Shot. The girls do love them (so do mom and dad). It was a fun project, and a chance to design something simple and functional. Thanks again.
  12. I don't specialize in purses at all (actually, I don't specialize in anything really), but a friend asked me to make some purses for his girls to save "College Money" in. He wanted them to have a coin purse, a bill slot (the bill slot is behind the coin purse), and a solid closure. Jordyn likes monkeys and Allison likes zebras. This is what I came up with, thanks for lookin'.
  13. That's some good work there. I like the design on the wallet, simple, flowing.

    Joe sheath 2

I recently did a sheath for a similar knife. Is that a Kent knife, sure looks like one? I like the copper rivets, the contrast is cool. nice job.
  15. Thanks Chris B and papadanny. I think i'm starting to get the hang of it. Thanks again.
  16. I have been pretty busy lately and haven't had a chance to post anything. Well, here are a few of the things that have been taking up my time. Thanks for lookin' Murray
  17. That is about as slick as it gets. Fantastic rig.
  18. I like it, I like it a lot. I guess keeping that heaping box of scraps is a good idea.
  19. Those are beautiful. Apparently your comfort zone is in need of a shift.
