  1. Cool, Anthony. That is not terrible at all. I'll be interested to see what else you come up with!
  2. Both the knives and sheaths are awesome! I love the bigger sheath, especially.
  3. That looks awesome, Bob. I love celtic knots. And I really like two different kinds of backgrounding.
  4. The contrast is amazing.
  5. Wow, that's frustrating. I love how it turned out. It's lovely.
  6. Nice! Looks like fun. The pigskin lining on the green one looks really good, though I like the rounded edges in your other projects, better.
  7. Wow, very interesting. Ditto Peter.
  8. That looks very nice indeed. Cool dog, too.
  9. Hey Joe, it looks awesome! The canvas lining looks so awesome that you aaallmost convince me to dig out my pathetic little fabric sewing machine so I can do lining, too. Maybe soon. I feel you about the rolled handles. What kind of leather did you use?
  10. Thank you for the kind words, Ryan!
  11. Oooh, I see. That's very cool. Thanks for the instructional pictures!
  12. They all look great, Chief. I especially like the bag.
  13. Interesting, I've never seen this wallet design. Quite cool! I was looking through your photobucket gallery and saw your hole punch case. How on earth did you do that edging with the invisible stitch on the flap edge and inside edge? It looks awesome.
  14. Well that's ridiculously cool....!
  15. Those look great, Ryan! I really like your artwork.
  16. It looks great! Portfolios are awesome. Good luck on attaching the buckle. It's a pain when you've gotten it sewn up.
  17. Those are all great! I love your coloring job. They look really clean. The black one is my favorite, too.
  18. Panther, Can I see a picture of your bags? Glue is a great idea. I have been working with the idea that one should try to use one piece of string, if at all possible. The more pieces, the more doubled stitches show up. However, I can see how your method would really help out this bag construction. Honestly, I hadn't even considered a better way to sew it together, especially one that meant beginning and ending several times. Thanks! Tomstas, you're not kidding. Watch bands, for instance. I haven't tried one because I haven't got the tools, but before the last six months, I wouldn't have known I needed other tools. That, for me, is progress.
  19. Yeah, the rivets are actually really cool. I might like it more than the original bag construction. By the way, I looked through your pictures for a minute, and the little tiny bag is hilarious. Also, the knife roll is cool.
  20. Thanks, I do think I'll do that. It'll look cleaner. Lucky I left a place for it.
  21. @builderofstuff - Thank you! We'll see how it works out. @BubbaJon - Thanks for the advice - I figured I'd try one, and then I'd see what is lacking once I start using it. Maybe shorter and rounder/fatter at the end? @WScott, Thank you! Turning on a lathe is a lot of fun. I even did some turned bone pendants last year. My husband went through shelves of turned bowls and decorative items when he was a teen. It's a great way to grow up. Your kids are going to be awesome. My seven year old is already looking forward to making some knife sheaths and such in the next couple of years. @Rohn, Thanks! It is fun, but it takes time to set up, which means one puts it off until one has more time, and we all know we never have more time. That's why I like leatherworking. Just find some leather and get to work. No set-up time.
