  1. I made this one for my step-son for x-mas. The only gift I made. Its sharkskin (seems to be alot of that around here) with carp skin inlay. The shiny black overlay is kidskin as well as the pockets. Lambskin binding and asian brocade lining. Thanks for looking

  4. Hey Jeff, welcome to the forum. Good to see another Missouri boy here. I am in Joplin, Mo. My family is all from West Plains also. Post some pics of your stuff. KK
  5. I hope you all aren't getting tired of me yet. Sharkskin card wallet, black dragon asian brocade lining, kidskin pockets, lambskin binding, orange contrast stitching. The snap is just an off the shelf tandy piece. I have been debating on using these for a while as I think they look kinda cheapo, but I think it kinda works with this one. No inlays or overlays this time, just stitchin.
  6. Thats some nice tooling. I love the finish. Beez should be proud.
  7. Super Cool Steve! I love your wallets. Very unique shape. You definately have a style of your own. KK
  8. Your right! That is definately a seat. I love it. The letters are very clean, the antiqueing looks great. The colors of wood and leather go great together. All around nice job.

  10. Those things are NICE. What happens when the paper is all gone? Is it refillable?
  11. Thank you all for the nice words. It really means alot to me to hear such a positive response from so many talented folks. Someone on here mentioned my "sewing expertise" but i've gotta say i'm no expert at all. I'm just a very slow stitcher. Most of the time the machine is not even on.
  12. I use 3M 90 to glue my linings in. Havn't had any issues yet.
  13. I'm going to print that quote and put it up in my shop. Thanks all fr nice words. I actually threw this one on ebay to see what'd happen. So far just a few watchers. The auction ends tomorrow.
  14. Okay, I jazzed this one up a bit. This one is actually for a customer. Daughters initial S. Gator print cowhide, finished kidskin inlay/overlay. I also made a minor adjustment to the shape. I think its getting there. Still have a couple changes in mind.... Thanks for looking
