  1. I didn't make the chaps, I just made em better with the shops name. Thanks for looking!
  2. Guys, thank you all very much for the kind words...This piece is probably my most detailed piece to-date. I do have to make a correction on the title though. Even though Ed Roth did his fair share of "winged" eyeballs, I think its safe to say that VonDutch has actually got the market cornered with the "flying" eyeball. This is my own original art, but it is definately more VonDutch than Ed Roth...who knows, maybe there will be a Rat Fink piece in the future... Kevin, its about time you got around to joining us!
  3. Hey Warren! How ya been bro? Glad to hear your boy is still rockin the KK wallet. Your right, it'll probably last longer than us. Thank ya thank ya. The snap is a sterling silver piece from van amburg. Thanks brutha! Thanks for the compliment! My prices vary depending on the details, but they start out around $350 and up Thanks Richard! I do have me some patience. Some times i dont even turn the machine on...hand cranking one stitch at a time. This wallet was made for a fellow LW member, icestud, who by the way is one hell of a nice guy. Thanks again Matt! KK
  4. If not for the hard times, what would we talk about during the good times? Bro! Suck it up, keep your tools, make some stuff, get a job you may not like until the right one comes...been there, done that. Okay, enuf of the tuff love. Anyone that knows me here, knows the rocky road I've been traveling and I say from my personal experience TRUST THESE PEOPLE! You are amongst some of the finest folks you will ever have the honor of knowing. Do not take the advice offered up here lightly. You obviously wanted something or else you wouldnt have started this thread. I'm guessing you started it to sell your tools. Bet ya wasnt bargaining for life long friends huh. Dont sell your tools! KK
  5. Thank ya thank ya! I've actually had the shark one listed on ebay for about a week now. Auction ends in a few hours.
  6. While waiting on some supplies for paying jobs, I decided to keep the machine turning. Couple of my 4x5 shorties. First is shrunken bull and off white cowhide overlay, red contrast stitching with a $$$ lining. Second is the same design with some decorative stitching in tan thread to add depth on black sharkskin with cowhide overlay/red stitching.
  7. I've played around with different effects like this but not for my actual product shots...more of an artsy fartsy thing...
  8. Already been sent. Even my client...was so happy with the piece, he sent them pics as well. KK
  9. Actually, when my client first asked for an exile wallet, I said no...but after a few back n forth emails of what to do, I decided to just call exile and ask if I could make this piece. KK

  15. I saw the title of this on the latest news and automaticly new it was a FREAK piece...before i even opened thread.... KILLER! This, my friends, is why I am the FREAK fan club president!!! KK
  16. I have only purchased it from springfiled leather. I bought just about all they had so its lasted me quite a while. Van Amburg sells some also. They are pretty pricey though. They do have split elephant as well. They split it, then emboss to look like elephant again. I have never used the split stuff but sounds kinda wierd to me. Elephant embossed elephant. There are others out there, just gotta keep searchin bro. Hope this helps KK
  17. Bad@$$...Seriously killer work brutha! As far as glue for the lining...I use 3M90. Spray both sides, wait a sec, stick em together. KK
