Shorts, what do you use to seal your EcoFlo and how many coats do you use?or what is the best way you have found to seal it?...

Storm, great job on the carving and the pyro.. burning on leather and wood is how i started..this site has started me thinking about tooling .. and how i can add tooling to my burns.. thanks for shareing and i will be looking forward to seeing more of your Pyrocarvings ..is that a word?

I think that is so cool!! thanks so much for sharing your talents and taking the time to make a tutorial..the more i see and read about embossing the more i think i may give it a try.. your tutorials on embossing are great.. may i ask were can i get a hair tool like the one you are useing in this tutorial that uses xacto blades?.. and how many blades does it use?

tazzman,thanks for the idea but i just called.. i can buy it but they can't fly here by air.. i just talked to someone i Calif at a tandy that said when dyeing with ECO-FLO to first put neatsfoot oil ,then super shene let it dry.then use the eco-flo dyes then super shene for the final finish useing a airbrush ..how would that work..or is he talking of the top of his head...

well i have tried every place to see if i can get oil or spirit dye shipped here and its no go.. i can buy them but can't ship by air. so i ask it could be shipped by ship they said yes.. but i would have to buy it by the skip thats not going to happen..what i want to know is will ECO-FLO products work for cycle seats and bags..and if i have to use it. and it looks like i'm going to have to what top coats would be the best to use to seal it for outdoor use.. i need all the help i can..ldeas please.. other type of dye what ever. as long as i can ship it... maybe don't use dyes only some type of a sealer i just don't know ..help!!!

when mixing Lexol and baby shampoo how much of each do you use? what is the formula?i'd like to try it if i can find out how to make it...

will i live in paradise so they say.. but when it comes to leather its hard to get supplies .and to learn any thing about working with leather..i just got back from Springfield Missouri ..got to see Springfield leather company.. and i think i'm ready to move only thing is i may have to move by my self

well i'd have to say for hobbies it would be smoking and grilling...

well they just did it here today $4.06 a gal. if they are going to keep me with these prices. i sure wish they would kiss me after a fill up.. i think i'd feel better myself.. now i feel like i got used..

there pretty common here. they say we get a couple hundred a day on a good day.. most we don't feel but every onces in a will we get a rocker that lets us know that we are living here because the volcano lets us..i lost part of my garage on the last big one we had...look for the after shocks!!there alot of fun to.

well its not leather but i did get some ideas from my leather books.. i engraved these for a guy for his Harley for uses some place on his frame.he wanted it to have a ruff type of finish on the chrome..thanks for looking..i'm still working on learning leather....

well for me this weekend was Wet !!!!... Sat. we got 20'' of rain yesterday last night and today its still raining as hard as it did on Sat. so we must have now pretty close if not 40'' I think i may need to ask someone to send me a raft if this keeps up :D hears a couple picture i took this morning when i got up...

well i live in Hilo, Hawaii on the island of Hawaii. some call it the big island..because it is the biggest island in the chain of Hawaiian islands..i live about 20 mile from Kilauea volcano that is the most active volcano in the world..i have a wonderful wife(Kaiulani) ,6 kids 4 girls 2 boys and 2 dogs. all out of the nest..but not the dogs... my last boy well grad from collage in May this year.. hes in Missouri.. for a living i have worked for myself for the last 30 years as a hand engraver and a scrimshaw artist..about a year ago i added leather still learning but with all your help its coming around..we do have a big call for cowboy(paniolo's) stuff here lots of ranch land and one of the largest ranches in the US.(Parker ranch) that is why i wanted to added leather along with my engraving work..

bezza,thats some good looking work i like it alot!! and thats one good looking boy you got there... my boy after trying to get him to learn what i do for a living. to some day take over for me .i started about the same age as your boy. he just came to me and wants to learn what i do.. he's now 22 ..keep trying
