    I think that was by design... I recently made something very similarbut I like the liner a lot, nice touch. I have not gotten into any liners yet, although I really want to. Did you fold it over on the edges and glue it to the leather then stitch or does it just end with the leather edge?

    I think the first bag looks great, very clean and contemporary. The second bag seems a little more eclectic, moslty in the strap shape. I think both appear well made, nice work.

    I am entertaining the idea of making a bag as well. I think the satisfaction of creating something yourself is worth the time and cost to do it... as long as you are happy with the end result.
