I'm pretty sure he uses Vergez Blanchard pricking irons from France. -
Bump for anyone still searching and experimenting. http://www.buckleguy.com/leather-edge-paint/ Also while perusing the Mando.fr web site I found this: http://mando.fr/fr/325-gomme-arabique-concassee-sachet-250-gr.html http://mando.fr/fr/consommables/349-ocres-pour-gomme-arabique.html I haven't tried either of these products.

Iphone Pouch

Very nice. Is that calfskin & where did you get it? Beautiful stitching. How many SPI? -
Thanks! I'll check out SW snaps. I don't think I'm going to buy anymore setters. I want dies that work with my hand press. The results are great with jiffy rivets, eyelets and everything else so far. Here's my hand press. Mine does not have the FEPATEX logo on it. Also purchased from Ohio Travel Bag.

I'm using small Prym snaps and the appropriate setters (shown in the pic). The snap on the left won't set very good. I bought these from Ohio Travel Bag. I have a hand press that I'd like to use but as far I know there are no dies for Prym snaps. If you also use Prym snaps what are you doing to set them? How are your results? Where do you buy your snaps?

The die is roughly 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 - 8/9 oz leather. Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a little more time to see if anyone closer pops up. -
I have a die and I need about a dozen or so clicked out. Thanks.
-
Wow, thanks for noticing. I didn't realize that. I just read their front page which said "Our brass hardware is made in our own factory" which just happens to be in China not MA. Have you checked Ohio Travel Bag?

iPhone case looks great. Is it molded or is it just the iPhone stuffed inside making it look like that? I've tried finding better, thinner thread. Depends on how much money you want to spend. You might try some Irish Linen thread from Royalwood. For top of the line go for Lin Câblé from Ets Toulemonde Fil Au Chinois. I've never tried "Tiger Thread" AKA Ritza but I've read good things.
