You can also customize your activity stream to see only what you want and eliminate clutter you're not interested in.

I think I got it fixed. Please check to make sure the post from 6 hours ago does not show in your activity stream. You may need to log out and log back in.

I'm not sure what happened yet, but obviously something broke in the permissions. I'll get it fixed ASAP.

I did one of those admin "Log everyone out at once" moves this morning, so that was probably me, but I had to get it to stop. Northmount, Alzilla & Wiz do a great job zapping spammers that get past me, but this morning was an attack. We have things under control again. I am fortunate to have such good help. ~J

I don't care who you voted for or what you support. The CFM section is not for "conservatives". The "C" is for "controversial" which was what that whole forum turned into instead of leather conversation. There are a dozen people with access, and it doesn't show to anyone else.

I project this project will be done next month. I was always glad I learned English first because to dive into this as ESL student would be a nightmare of memorization of tradition, not logical rules. Kinda like gallons and miles, compared to liters and meters. German is logical, Russian has rules, French and Spanish are easier if you've got some Latin background, but English makes it up as it goes along.

Vinegar. Doesn't stain, and kills mold spores. Can be used on finished or unfinished leather. I use white vinegar and sunshine to get rid of mold and mildew, and I will wipe down leather I plan to store with vinegar. If you're using veggie tanned leather (absorbent) test an inconspicuous area first, just to be safe.

Welcome, John! We are a people of sharp knives and big hammers, and most of us would rather be in the shop than updating a website or trying to figure out where the email disappeared to. I noticed your email isn't bouncing anymore. Are you receiving it now? I think our old IP was on a spam list because of the bitcoin hacker. Now that we've changed IPs there are almost no bounces. DNS should be resolved by noon tomorrow. That's what they promised, anyway! Hahaha

At the bottom of the page you can toggle between themes. I will make changes as you ask for them, or make a third theme. The next board update in a month or two will allow the board to display in dark mode at night on a mobile. I could hack it now, but it's coming, and I have other things still on the list for now. We did lose a bit of content. The migration finished this morning and I changed the DNS servers. I realized we had half on the old server and half on the new so I force logged everyone out in order to call up the new server as people came back online. I'm looking at improved spam detection right now. I just had to get this other stuff squared away first. ~J

The migration has begun. We are going to a fancy new server to handle the traffic. All will be well in a few hours. If it gets too bad, I'll shut the board off.
