I passed up a killer deal on a 900-b bull becuase I really had no room for it in my truck with the union lock that was in my truck becuase I couldnt pass that deal up! there were junk buyers buying brass buckles and the old unions that were not working for scrap! It was pretty sad, I SHOULD have bought more! Sounds like the weaver auction was a buyers market too! Is anyone going to Mose Miller's auction next month? I want to try to make it down there. -Andrew

  21. Hey everyone, Seems like the good deals always pop up when I am tight in the budget, well things haven't changed too much, BUT Uncle Sam's check is due in anytime from my tax's! I am looking for: 1) a good bench splitter, an osborn, or krebs style of spliter/skiver 2) a single edge creaser, an old randall or something. I'd rather give one of us the money then Weaver for a brandy new one of each! Look forward to the replies. -Andrew

  25. Hi Blake, I think that 10% extremely fair. This particular tack shop is huge, two tack shops, as well as two huge lumber yards. They will do all the front end work! All I have to do is pick up, and drop off, after I fix the tack. They will run it threw their system and then just cut me a check once a week for the previous weeks work. I know I always give my buddies deals. but not this way!. They want me to make up a pricelist, that is the delemia, BUT I can use my name and web site on the flyer! They will also advertise it as a service. They send a lot of work my way, but I am out of my home as well and its easier to just have them drop it off. They are 4 miles from my house on my way into town, and I buy grain weekly reguardless! I was just wondering what would be a fair dollar amount for an hourly rate and min rate... Thanks for the input though blake! -Andrew
