  1. Is the anyway to match them up? I know you said they are "coded" but ar they identified as to what they may be? Or if they are a set?
  2. Mose has no phone or site, the embossed is made by Dan Byler, who doesn't have a phone either! Dan's address is 7503 burdick rd dewittville NY 14728 this is his new address, he lived in Conewango valley before. Mose makes the embossed wheels, Dan is some how related to Mose. Both great guys, both have a ton of stories! Hope this helps, tells Danny I sent ou his way! -Andrew
  3. I have one of these 467's and a couple 441's (juki and sewpro) 467 is great, but if youre sewing tack, you want the 441 style!
  4. You're going to want a 441 clone. Short arm is reLly all you need for strap goods! You're going to want the feed dog, I run a feed dog that has teeth, that are smoothed over a bit, and I run needle for nylon, and I run a needle one size bigger than I would on leather. Save yourself, and just contact one of the dealers on here. 441's are the machine, for the price, you can't beat them!
  5. Ok, Now that I am at my PC I can post a picture to this! Here is the picture, I think I am missing something! I know Bob at Toledo had the spring I was missing, and helped me out with that! Hopefully this is a quick fix, if not, i'm going to the table mounted style like have had on my Adler's and my short arm 441!

  7. I picked up this Juki, ironed out all the kinks, have it back sewing like a top! However, since I've always had a knock off short arm 441, I've never had a Bobbin winder built in! Mine isn't working, I pulled it apart, am I missing anything?? I looked at several manuals, no diagrams of this! Thanks! -Andrew I'll post the picture here shortly, apparently I can't upload a picture to here from m iPad! Since its the send time I wrote this post- first from my iPhone! But I never posted it because I couldn't upload the picture!
  8. I'd love to see a picture of how it lays down the stitch with linen, are you using linen in the bobbin as well??
  9. What are you using for thread? What's the secrete to laying out the design on the nose band?? Do you ever use that tiger thread? If so what sizes? Thanks! -Andrew
  10. Kevin, sounds about right! That's what Ive seen and heard as well! People get all wound up over their coach bag! Guess they haven't seen chucks work!
  11. I was going to say I have a short arm clone(sewpro) and a juki tsc 441 and the juki stickers are in blue! I saw this on eBay, and though " damn someones pulling a little trick!" plus the juki has some other stickers, and a plate rivited to it with s# and model... A Same as all the alders I've owned. Be safe! Go with a dealer! The packages are the best deals going! I've got a small fortune with feet/ feed dogs/ edge guides/ throat plates! It's quite evident that's Steve, or Bob, have a good handle on the needs of most Leather workers!

    Edge Painter

I have for sale a bibo Italian edge painted, you put the paint, or edge coat in and it runs through and covers the edge, works we'll, but since all I do is harnesses and strap goods, I like to burnish all of my edges and dye them. Looking for $550 for this machine, I'll throw in a bottle of Campbell bosworths italian edge dye in black as well! ($40) bottle after shipping!!!
  23. If I'm creasing a single line I usually don't heat them, but when I'm boxing out keepers I always heat a double line creaser, it helps give it some shape and the double lines look real sharp. I use a torch on my bench, but you have to be careful not to scorch the leather

    W&c Swatches

I've always had them bend over backwards getting samples out to me, they have swatches cut in the shapes of hides, but I've even asked for bigger samples. Actually I haven't had any issues with any leather suppilers getti samples to me! So your rit down in Boston? You've got some leather sellers in driving distance! Ipswitch, Hudson NH, hull am, and Littleton mass, that I can think off right off hand!
