Hello and welcome to the board!! Not enough time is not so funny but I know what it feels like and I think most of us do. IF you're going to carve there is a simple practice I like to do that takes ten minutes. Draw some S curves and a few straight lines onto some scrap leather and carve one S-curve - one stright line - one S-curve...and so forth. If I've been away from carving a few weeks because of something, I do this one to before getting back onto subject to "wake up" my hands a little. Tom
  17. Thanks for sharing Ray! Very beautiful stuff and not very far away from me. Maybe I go visit this sometime in the future. Tom

  21. Hi Bebah! This is why we have the show off or critique my work section. Just post into the one of those two who suits your need and the forces behind the board will sort out the post to right category later on. If you wanna post questions about stuff or so then it'd be wise to post directly into whatever category that suits your need best to get the maximum interest from the right people when they use the view new posts function wich is what most people do. I'm no expert on sheridan but looks pretty good to me. Nice saddle too. Tom

Good looking stool! I really like that neat little braid that I have been studying in Bruce Grants book and the motif looks just as good. Very beautiful with the naked leather with coloured details. That font is a nice one too. Tom
