  6. Ken, Im almost positive that I did this seat with Angelus Brown full strength, and yes the black is antique. I know every piece of leather takes dye differently but this stuff was premium bull hide from Zack Whites. Every piece I did, no matter what color I sprayed came out looking like a totally unique dye. You may wanna try this leather for other reasons, awesome tooling character as well as dying and pasted backs.

Wanted to put my two cents in on this one, ordered from Ron a number of times, no complaints, ever. As far as the 25 percent coupon, I also tried using it on line with the same problem, nothing but a glitch, called up, placed order and gave coupon code and Ron says "Have you recieved the post card in the mail for 30 percent discount? Which I hadnt, but he went ahead and gave me the additional 5 percent anyway. And it seems the online glitch is fixed because I used the coupon code for the $20 off and it works now. I'll continue to do business with Ron, as I will with Kevin and Zack Whites, all of these guys are top notch.
  8. Thanks Bobby, always nice to gett a thumbs up from you
  9. I gotta agree with Mike, ive gottten some great deals on Ebay, cant really agree on the statement its a place for dummies, Im pretty sure theres some of them in whatever place you look, but as a buyer Ive been more than happy with my purchases on Ebay, as a seller on the other hand I do think they get carried away with all there fees but nobodys forcing anybody to buy or sell. Its just another tool out there and nothings free.
  10. I bought a no 16 Gomph overstich wheel on Ebay, handle and ferrul are excellen but wheel doesnt spin and has teeth missing, do any of the tool makers refurbish these?

  14. Thanks Troy Hey Rick! Tandy sells a pretty realistic "Croco-Cow" leather. I use it for bike seats, gun holsters, and all kinds of other projects. It comes in about 30 different colors and really is sharp. It's kinda pricey, not real bad, but worth it IMO.... I'm just about to embark on a new project for a Yamaha "Millennium Edition" Venture. Here's a few pics of the stuff... Hope this helps! Troy
  15. Any recomendations on who carries the most realistic looking croc embossed cowhide? rather heavier than lighter, 3.5 to 4.5 oz min. This will be used for cycle seats.
