  8. Can I get contact info for Henley knives?
  9. Something I learned from a Chuck Burrows DVD might be of interest, Use an empty glue can containing the appropriate thinner for that brand, keep the current cans lid and brush in that can ( this keeps your brush free of built up glue and ready to use) keep the can of glue next to it with a cap with the brush removed, when you start your gluing project just switch caps, when finished put the brush/cap back on the thinner can and cap the glue.
  10. Any know how to reach Jim Downey?

  16. I would have liked to have laced this with Burgundy lace but didnt know about dyeing lace colors, anyone try this? Also had trouble finding Burgundy thread in 207 or 277 all I could find was weaker thread, any of ya'll try dying white thread colors?
  17. Thanks for the kind words. I originally learned my lacing through a DVD I got from Hidecrafters, it may have been Chan Greer or Hurst Ray. I just use a Bob Douglas Awl and regular Harness Needles, I dont try sticking needles through the stingray
  18. I got this pan on Ebay cheap, and had a good size Burgundy stingray laying around, this is what I ended up with. My shop is Fluer de lis customs, but since I had some scrap instead of a makers mark I did the inlay on the back
  19. Theres a couple of breast collar d rings on ebay right now. Item number: 320384257010
  20. Who do you guys suggest for colored thread? This will be used for an inlay in a bike seat, something I usually do with 207 or 277 thread when using brown or black, Id like to know where to get colored threads of about the same strengths
  21. Anyne know where I can get brass split rings for attaching chains to wallets?? Brass or copper would work. Rick
  22. Chris, most of what I do is bike seats, I almost always use the Tandy Florentine lace, decent quality and its the widest they offer at 3/16 which I think looks alot better with the mexican round braid, and as we speak Tandy has this lace on sale for 50 percent off, that brings it to 14.99 per 25 yard spool. Lowest price Ive ever seen it
  23. Sorry theyve been sold
  24. Thanks Bruce, thats definately not what Im looking for, any suggestions on actual splitters? What about the Joseph Dixon or the one by Neels Saddlery, they have one of those on Ebay at $160 for buy it now price, that kinda makes me a little hesitant.
  25. Anyone familiar with these splitters? And if so are they pretty decent machines?
