a wallet inspired
Spider replied to walletman's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Hey that wallet looks very back woodsie. Cool. Hey, that also looks like my "Boracho" Skull. Actually, Badloveleather is the new proud daddy of that one. I guess his long lost undocumented bro just showed up. -
Something different from me

OMG!!! This is awesome. It would make an awesome Tool bag for a bike. Put some straps on it and mount the beast. -
You have great creativity.

Blood Clot Wallet

Thanks guys. This was a blast to make but more involved than I anticipated. My next one will surely be better. Thank you Travis for ALL your help. Tom, send me the toad or "save" it for later..... This is embossed calf into lizard. -
What you think my peeps? This is my first attempt at this style of wallet. Embossed lizard with bandana w/skulls liner. It was fun to make.

Thanks Froghunter, yeah, Skulls are pretty sweet...

Where do you live Corter? Of course, all I do is scary stuff. -
The pics are kinda small but from what I can see it looks purdy good. See if you can give some bigger pics.

No suggestions but I do love your wallets. To me they also look like a canvas to tool on. They do look great as is though. -
Thanks everyone. It's funny cause when I was given instructions initially I was told to use a slot instead of a punch. I started to use my slot (old one) when it snapped in two. It was not like the ones now that are one solid piece, I see why the improvement. I will make more wristbands and I will try my new slots. So I will put on my thong and get my thong chisel and do it that way next time. Thanks for the support my peeps. Yeah, I'm ghetto like that.

I love the antique broken in look and this has it all over. Good looking stuff. I have wanted to make a book cover but I don't read much so I would have to make a laptop cover instead. lol Oh well.

Ok no offense but ....get the hell out of the forum and finish the dragon one. Those others are awesome and I want to see the dragon one done. Very nice form and coloring.

OMG I finally did some lacing... First I have to thank badloveleather for taking the time to show me some techniques to make lacing simpler. THANK YOU TRAVIS!!! I have always been afraid of it. I think this turned out pretty cool though. Not sure if I did it inside out though. the inside of the wristband looks a bit more crossed than the outside. The outside mainly has the angled lace consistently through. Hm, lemme know. Anyway I like it and will do more like it. I think I still need to touch it up with some color on some spots.

Very cool. I'm personally into skulls and scary stuff but I have to say that this catches my eyes in a nice way. Kinda like beauty and the beast. Very nice Leathercat. Keep it up.

I agree with everyone else. This turned out really nice.

Maybe hang your pieces next time you are spraying. To avoid the drip. I hate when that happens and ALL I see from that point on is a freak'n spot not the hole pic. Kinda like a zit on prom night or the driver's license pic. This looks to be coming out pretty good.

Wow Beeza this is cool. First on the blister, EEEWWWW!!!!! Ok, now on to the seat. This is either one big seat or one big arse going on it. Very cool design. Your tooling is good lookin.

Headknife sheath
Spider replied to TwinOaks's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Glad you're satisfied with it even though you know what could be "fixed". The fact that you did the weave is bad ass. I started reading the instruction on this from the book and was lost as soon as step 6 was over, (guesstimated step). Very cool -
Frog this is a great intro to the blend of stuff we can do. Kinda a transition piece into the "other". I will post a piece I did with this concept too. you did a great job and should be proud.

This is turning out pretty cool. Can't wait to see it done
