  18. Finally finished the 1st project. I have made mine slightly smaller so as to take UK notes and also I have only put 3 cards either side. I used 5mm english bridle leather which I skived down by hand to 3mm for the outside which I then lined with doe skin and then skived that down along the edges of were the pockets where to go. I used 2mm case leather for the rest. It is stitched with 4 cord 18 black linen thread. I made all the pieces slightly larger than my templates glued and stitched them together then trimmed off the excess at the end as close to the stitch line as I could get. I just used warm water and a flat bone to do the edges. Could have been a bit thinner but I am happy with it.
