  1. Bevel first and then slick the edges, it will look better, although rough edges can also look good! a well slicked edge will also add longevity to your work. Yup that's a saddle stitch! There are several really good slicking posts on this site that you can look at. Myself, I first slick with water, then gum trag and then bees wax. using a plastic slicking wheel i got from Tandy, then i use a piece of Jade i had laying around and the i use a piece of denim. I usually slick with water, then dye my edges then the gum trag and bees wax
  2. Hey Tcon, nice first attempt! I like it. Maybe on your next one you could bevel the edges and slick them down. also nothing beats a nice looking saddle stitch!
  3. Love clean looking work like that
  4. I can tell you that in my neck of the woods, that being Canada. stuff like this is always looked at as counterfeit, rather than copy right infringement. That makes it a Police issue and not a civil problem. The Police here have whole teams of folks raiding counterfeit operations. everything from batteries (yup) software, designer gear to Tee shirts
  5. Thats good question. I have made handcuff pouches in exactly the same manner as you describe and have had no negative feed back from the people that use them. I'm not a fan of clips either. Also, sorry to be a downer but the knife known as the "punch knife or push knife" where the blade extends between the fingers and and the handle is sort of a T bar design or configuration is actually illegal in Canada, Sooo be careful!
  6. Excellent I have teh same knife and was looking for a sheath idea!
  7. Nice i like a clean looking sheath. Can we see the back of it?
  8. Its all about the client right? the batman sign will only be out of place if he does not like it. Nice job
