    while its a soft metal it maybe takes a little practice to get it right. After cutting and using the rounding tool, i use a ball hammer to round it out, that said it never comes out round, it comes out with character

    I make mason jar holders (with and without handles) that the glass mason jar can slide in and out of. I have been using one every day now for, hmmm i want to say an easy 8 months. The jar never comes out unless i want it out to clean or pour my tea into.All i did was take a piece of leather and wrap it around the glass so that it would be a slightly tighter fit than the glass could take. I used three rivets to hold the seem in place and then wet the leather, worked the jar into place and molded the leather to fit

    Nice sheath. as a reminder the oven should be at its lowest setting. i do mine at the lowest setting with the oven door slightly ajar. (wow flash back to 60's batman riddle, when is a door not a door, when its ajar! then they capture the Riddler, and then the muppet show came on)

    I would like to submit to the court that the true crime here is not that is is ugly, which it most certainly is. I would humbly suggest that this tool roll would have to sneak up on a mirror to see its own reflection. No gentle readers, that is not the true crime here. The true crime here is that this creation was spewed forth from the neither realms and presented on a leather working forum and was born from that most unholy of materials. Unclean one I name thee VINYL! and do cast ye from the forum!
