  2. Thanks Gents..........I guess I am in the market for an airbrush.........not that I've ever needed much of an excuse to buy a new tool......
  3. Not exactly......what I am looking to do is have black along each of the edges in about 1/4"-3/16", and then fade to natural through for the center of the belt.
  4. Can you put a link up so one can go to Amazon and see what you are selling?
  5. Hello All.........I am in the process of making a veg tan belt.....basketweave stamping......I would like to have the first 1/4" of the edge to be black, and the middle basketweave section to stay natural....kind of a moving/blending from black to natural. I hope I am explaining this well enough..........Any thoughts on how this is done? Thanks............Don
  6. Is the Osborne 3/16" punch and the 1.5" strap punch available?
  7. Thanks Art .... I will be getting more information and some photos of the motor set-up, and even a video of it sewing....She says it is a clutch motor, but sews slowly.....maybe it has a speed reducer. I will know more tomorrow evening. I am 500 miles away....I'm in the Tahoe area, and she is in Portland....we will see if it works out........Don

  12. Hello All .... Not sure this is the forum for this, but it gets the most activity so I will start here.......if this post belongs somewhere else please let me know...... 14. Hello All ... I have an old draw knife up for grabs, not sure of manufacturer but could be an old Osborne....here is the skinny....I bought it and never used it....put a new blade CS Osborne blade on it and I never got it to cut real well...probably operator error.....or maybe a bad blade. Nevertheless, I bought another strap cutter and now this just sits...maybe it will work well for you. Only apology is one of the nuts is not original but fashioned to look old.....$45 shipped priority in the cont. USA .... message me if interested. Don
  15. +1 For Barry King....... They are absolutely a quality tool!
  16. Hello All.......Just finished up stamping these spur leathers yesterday, and would like some finish suggestions. Premium Veg tanned from The Hide House. I have several sets of these finished before with (1)Tan-Kote/Antique/Tan-Kote, and (2) Neatsfoot Oil/ Sno Seal. I am looking for suggestions for something else....I like the natural, "saddle" look, so shoot me full of holes with what has been successful for you....Thanks for any and all advise.........Don
