Hello All.....first post of photos here.......been a woodworker my entire life, and for several reasons am getting into leather work...living on a ranch with lots of tack to repair, both here and neighbors, as well as just wanting another skill. 10. JW......thanks for the reply. Ironically, I have since decided to purchase the Cowboy CB3200. It will fit my needs much better, and then I can always do what you have done and buy a flatbed machine if needed. I just have not decided yet where I am going to purchase....Neels or Toledo ......I have sensed the same about Artisan customer service.
  11. Thank you Itch for the reply .... I have done the research through Artisan .... I am just curious if someone here on site has personal experience with it.
  12. Hello All.......First of all I would like to introduce myself......New member from Gardnerville, NV. in the Carson Valley. I am interested in making some chinks for ranch work, and I have the opportunity to buy an Artisan 1797AB, with very few hours. The current owner made a few fancy motorcycle chaps and says the machine is virtually brand new. Is this machine going to be heavy duty enough for chinks, chaps, tool rolls etc. I can get it for $1000, maybe a little less. Thank you for any and all information and advice. Don
