Ok so this is a interesting topic I think you must at least have a short clean cut beard, but better luck if you are clean shaved, I grew a beard last winter and it was gone the minute spring came. take TV commercials they are advertising with clean shaved men with short hair, I don't no if any one watches golf but Mike Weir grew a beard for the PGA playoffs and the next week it was gone he took heat from the PGA. you don't see it in the spot light. it ain't like the good old days where a nice clean cut beard was fashionable.   6. Belts are touchy they need care and people want give any they really get hammered. it is not bad I noticed it when he brought to me for a new hole and a buckle going to look in to a different finish though. thanks Tom. Josh
  7. tom you nailed it there just tiny cracks in the sealer I had thout that might be it but you convinsed (spelling) me it is on the grain top of the belt it is that horse belt I did, don't have it for pic though thanks tom. Josh

Howdy yawl Ok I have a question not to stir up a hornets nest but you no I am pretty new to saddle making and the things related there to, the question is have any of you used the( Dave Jones "5 way rigging") system and if so would use it on a saddle not made for any particular horse and if not why and what would you use thanks Josh.

  21. howdy y'all I don't know if this is off topic but I am going to be taking a saddle class some time and would really be interested in seeing how you pros do it from start to finish and what advice would give me for any prep for a class like that. Josh

  24. I agree with hilly on every thing and I to like clays style of help he is honest and fair and I would also say Bruce has been one of those great guys he is honest and fair you can all be brutally honest with me, and I know that is hard to do since my work sucks. Josh.
