Happy New Year leatherfans! I have leather furniture in my livingroom, is contemporary leather couch and love seat, Have any of yall ever refinished this sort of stuff? Is a cream color, still decent shape but has discolored from wear and some from mildew on the backs etc where they are against walls or other stuff. Was looking to try a spray on colorant to refresh the look. So any input is hugely welcome.

Quilt Stitching Templates For Patterns On Leather
Kulafarmer replied to Tallbald's topic in Patterns and Templates
Thats pretty cool,, your lucky,,, -
Am leaning towards going with AutoCAD myself, used it extensively for construction detail drawings and cabinet layouts, Vowed to never buy another windows based anything so is nice that they now make a version for MAC OS, AutoCAD to me is perfect, importing drawings, scaling, resizing, mirroring details and drawing elements, plus the compatability of output to most operating software used by CNC or Water Jet or Laser cutting hardware. AutoCAD LT is reasonably affordable for a professional design product, but it isnt for everyone, personally is easy as i can do both command line or key entry, but it can be tough to learn.

If its a pancake style holster they are all similar just vary in where the stitching falls

Thank you, I dont like the slots because they look busy, i guess the biggest concern is making sure the buckles cand damage the insturment, Am going to connect with some folks i know in the music biz and work some stuff up, custom straps are nice, seen some beauties and get inspired, i like yours, do you use airbrush for the coloring? Like on the red/white/black one,,,,

How do you get the color of raw leather to show through a finish? IE A strap with a stamped pattern, like a rope or border and letters, where the outlines show up the natural color and everything else is an antique or a dye,,,, Paint a resist into it carefully? Or? Im sure its simple or not, but cant find this info, most likely searching the wrong terms Merry Christmas
