  1. Never seen one on a 69 class Adler. Not sure what it is for. glenn
  2. The H2 had 7mm of lift, earlier H3 was 11mm lift, H4 and white 335 pfaff have 14mm lift. Your 17/01 is a binder 335. Need pics of the machine. glenn
  3. wash both felts out with mineral spirts to clean them. The long worn wick fits under the staple on the flat felt. That sits on top of the rock frame that part #44 fits into. glenn
  4. Stupid design it sounds like. glenn
  5. Depending on what needle system is in the 733 Consew. . If going to 794 needle system form 1000, you will have to lower the needle bar since the 7 x1 and 794 are shorter needles glenn
  6. The 67 needs so cleaning up and oiling. Good machine. glenn
  7. 7x1, 7x3, 794 pretty much all the same needle other than the scarfs. That is the needle they used in 7 class machines. Did they go up to a 1000 needle? glenn
  8. They do not make a shim for the 280 needle. I think only up to 250. If using a 280 needle, you will have to build up the needle deflector shim to accommodate the 280, needle. You want to put needle in once you have the shim is widen. Remove the throat plate, feet and feed dog. I would then by hand turn the wheel lowering the needle and see how it is in relation to the hook. Touching? Or deflecting? If so you need more distance rings. glenn
  9. Table leg or machine leg missing? Can we see a pic of the brass model plate? glenn
  10. I have gears and pinions. Contact me. Some are original Simanco parts.
  11. I would say the inside and outside foot are out of sync since one is raising a lot more than the other. It also needs oil. There are directions on like to adjust the feet lift to be uniform. glenn
  12. C, That Seiko made to sew heavier with the big flywheel. Ferdinand did that on a few machines to give them a lot of torque and punching power. I saw one set up to sew t webs on a hockey goalie glove. Was sewing thru 4 and 5 layers of leather. Did a great job. Cleaned up and sewing $1,200.00 easy. glenn
  13. yep grab it now!!! glenn
  14. Anyone got a large wooden drawer for a Long arm Singer shoepatcher treadle stand? I am trying to spec the drawer. I only have the small drawers. The long arm treadle stands had bigger drawers in them. I need a finished length width and height. Thanks in advance. glenn
  15. Dannymac, You are correct the Rapid E is a 317. The 309 was and earlier machine. Thanks. glenn
  16. Basically the 112W139 was a double needle version of the 111W155. I think the 111W might be just a bit heavier in what it can sew. Mr. Kovar would know better than me on that one. glenn
  17. #207 a little thick. Only run it on the needle thread. or go to #138 on both top and bottom. glenn
  18. Rapid E? The Cadillac of curved sole stitchers. Parts , needles and awls you can get from Gateway Shoe in St. Louis. glenn
  19. order either a Hirose or Cerliani hook. They are the best generic hooks made. If you want a genuine, be prepared to pay dearly for a Genuine Pfaff hook. Like $300- $400.00 glenn
  20. C, Canadian Post is on strike and has been for at least a few weeks. Probably why they are not shipping to Canada at this moment. glenn
  21. The pitch of the bolt is 9/32"x 28. I am out of bolts at this time. glenn
  22. Samer, send me a few pics of the front of your machine where the wheel goes please. These parts are not cheap just so you know. glenn
  23. Like I said, way overrated for a sewing machine the Sailrite is. glenn
  24. You need to get a manual on the 205-6. That has that adjustment in it. I think it is different than on a 205-370. glenn
