  5. The Thread Exchange has been a good one for us.
  6. Ya, I've tried that but it never comes out right. I was wondering if there was a templet (hard plastic ect) that was avail and accurate.
  7. What is the correct way to make a tapered gun belt ? Coming from 1.5 " to 1.25" on both ends. Is there a templet that is available or is it just "free hand" ? I can never get it so it looks the same.
  8. That surprises me. I've ordered 3 stamps from Infinity and all were top notch. I thought a little high but quality.
  9. The Cobra Class 3 has been sold. Thanks for your interest.
  10. Used as a back up only to a Cobra Class 4 with very few hours. It's been setting in the corner of the shop covered for the past 6 months. The Cobra just doesn't break down so no real need for a back up. Comes with total package, inclusing all the goodies, and a Class 3 Work Platform. This is one of the finest Leather Stitchers on the market. Must pick up in the Atlanta, GA area. Pic's on request. $1900.00 678/520-2695
  11. You might want to try Weaver Leather.
  12. Called several weeks ago and call was not returned. Good buckles are becoming hard to find. And China buckles are junk. If anyone knows of another source - please chime in. I've tried all of the US Dist and they seem to all carry the same thing.
  13. Ouch.....Rick
  14. I wonder if there is anyway to see Samples ?
  15. I am also interested in US Brass buckles in 1 1/4-1 1/2-1 3/4 in nickel & brass (round & square). I purchase in 500 quantities of each except 1000 on the 1 1/2 nickel square. I am about to pull the trigger on a new Mfg but can hold off for a few weeks.A group buy would be great but quality is very important. I will also make the call but if anything comes up feel free to contact us at 678/520-2695. I am sick of the China junk, as well. Hope we can work something out.

  18. I have the Cobra Class 3 and the Class 4. You'll love them all. And you are correct - Steve is the "go to" guy. Good luck and Congrat's to all that own one.
  19. Do not have pic but worked with it today and well worth the $20. Tell Steve I suggested to get one.
  20. Bob A: How are you breaking needles ? Just rec'd mine as well with no problems. 207 & 277. The light is my only concern and Steve has the problem solved with a small LED light that has magnets that can be placed under the arm.
  21. I just got my new Cobra Class 4 sewing machine in, from Steve (we have a Class 3 and have enjoyed it so much we decided to purchase another machine and wouldn't think of going anywhere else but back to Steve. Anyway, got it all set up and went to work. Great machine and love the longer arm. But one thing I noticed right off the bat was the lighting system. It has the same goose neck LED light that the Class 3 has. The light on the Class 3 is excellent and does a great job but on the Class 4 the goose neck isn't long enough to go over the arm so it has to be positioned under the arm. When you aim the light at your work the light shines on the needle plate and roller guide and right back in your eyes. I've tried every adjustment, in the book, but to no avail. It became a major problem just trying to see my work. I talked to a couple of other people who I knew had the Class 4, as well. And they mentioned that they were having the same problem. So, in passing, I mentioned this to David and his response was "I've got just what you need". Three days later it arrived, at the shop. It is a small 2" LED strip with magnets that you can attach under the machine and direct the light totally on your work. Needless to say, it made all the difference in the world. So if any of you are having the same problem this little light is priceless. I think it sells for about $20.00 and worth every penny. Again, thanks to Steve and the gang for outstanding Customer Service.
  22. Zack White has what you're looking for. In plastic and in glass. Get the glass bottle. It's easier to clean up.
  23. All of our Keepers are made out of the same leather that our belts are made from (6/7oz) And dyed, sewn & sealed right along with the belt. 1 3/4 = 5", 1 1/2 = 4 1/2", 1 1/4 = 4" and so on. Hope this helps.
  24. My Cobra Class 4 should ship out this coming Tuesday as per/Steve. We also have a Class 3 & an Artisian. (the Class 3 has been a dream but now growing into a third machine). Can't wait to get the second Cobra. It should make out life alot easier. I would recommend the Cobra line of machines to anyone and with Steve in the package - you've got a sure winner.
