Wiz is spot on. And I found another issue i switched to #69 thread and was going to make another test strip but the tension was loose, would not tighten up I looked at the plates and see that a part must be missing the spring pushes down on a ? Brass tube? That tube has a shoulder that can not go any farther it lacks a 1/16” of engaging ing the tension plate

I think the 18 needle is to small for the 135 that must be the reason.

I think the bag is outstanding and a good job. I have mad a few packs and my Bud also makes packs I would like to give you a couple of ideas for your next pack. again nothing wrong with your back pac. I like it!! I have found that the flap top of your bag type will tend to leak in the morning when the dew melts and the contents get wet my Bud Gary cam up with a solution that allows the content to stay dry but adds space to the sq footage of the pack itself instead of the flap, make the tubular or square sharp of the pack longer then you use a draw string to close and roll the top of the bag closed then use 2 straps one on each side of the roll to secure roll top closed the loose ends of the straps bug me, so below the buckle make a pouch to slide the excess into This is not my bag, Gary made this it is a roll top as mentioned with double straps and end strap pouches the image is turned the correct way in my computer way up with the site -

Video is not uploading the service on my end is sketchie. We pipe in the sunshine and the pipe does not leave room for a web wire out here in BF finally received bobbins ad threaded them up. I see a learning curve coming up needle intermittently catches the bobbin and misses stitches. Sounds like I need to adjust, the bobbin spring is set so the bobbin dangles on the thread that is held by my fingers then will play out the thread when I rapidly move my wrist, kinda like when you jiggle a hook in front of a fish top thread tension is the same I have not adjusted For the correct needle height. Is the trick of bumping your finger tip with the needle under the shuttle arm the same on the singer as it is on a chichi patcher? I will upload t YouTube then to her tuomorrow thanks guys

Cutting the opening in an industrial table
Frodo replied to AlZilla's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
Both excellant recomendations may I add a side note? Apply painters masking tape to the Formica side of the table and cut the tape with the saw it will keep the Formica from splintering or splitting clean with a damp rag -

I need new belts so I measured the pulley was surprised to discover the pulley to be somewhat a v shape at the top is is 1/4” at the bottom of the v it is 3/16” so I am thinking of using a //4” v belt instead of a round belt has anyone done this with success?

The man card protocol on acknowledging another’s pain is Crystal clear first, you ask the person if they need medical attention are they “OK” IF no medical treatment is needed then you are free to laugh and call them bc a dumbass for what just transpired in no way are you allowed to giggle, grin, laugh or show any emotion EXCEPT concern until the person announces they are “OK” showing emotion will cause your man card to be revoked
