use anything you want for a stem, wire. or stick wrap it with green tape or cloth each petal has a longish stem, that is where you wrap and glue place the first petal on the wire and wrap secure with thread, place another but move over half the width of the petal, add glue where they over lap and at the stem . wrap with thread, move over half the width, glue/wrap continue around. I wrap 5 petals then let the glue set up. then do anther set leave the petals oriented straight up till finished wrapping then bend the petals out and shape the flower. as you wish my roses are about 6 or 7''' wide
