sorry so late getting back. hauled a lot of 2x12's and 2x10's today. it has a slot that is on the outside [top left bottom left] [bottom right] is the holder open you are looking at the inside, the outside slot is behind the id pocket yes. it is 1/2'' thick with cards inside 3/4' oz chrome tan bag leather not suede. I am running into a lot of people that do not want a traditional wallet with money pocket , they want small card holders, with a clip for folded cash as an option anything for a buck, you need a belt? LOL

This card holder is getting a lot of attention by the public it is 3'' wide x 8 1/4 long 7.62 x 20.95 unfolded folded is 3''x4'' 7.62cm x 10.16 made from soft 3/4 oz suede that is a litle stiff It has an outside card pocket, 2 inside card pockets and a ID pocket

Start ut by marking your stitch line on ever piece of leather you will stitch After it is marked, start your chisel in the exact same spot on each piece. I used to surf in my younger days, I would ''hang ten' that means i would hang ten toes over the edge of the board. Hang one, hang the first prong of your chisel over the edge of the leather, If you do this on each piece your chisel prongs will be mathematically lined up I always stitch right to left. and the first needle threw the hole is the top needle down, then pull the thread to the left, bottom needle up to the right/front of the thread you are pulling out of the way. then top needle down, Your hole is slotted. top needle down on the rear of the slot. pull to the left. bottom needle up on the front of the slot. DO THIS EVERY time in the same order If you switch up and top needle down on the FRONT of the slot your stitch line will show it like a neon light start your stitching going left to righty top needle down on the left/rear of the slot. bottom needle up on the front/right of slot. REPEAT exactly

2.5' inches is the book itself. fold it over and then it is 5 inch, add some for the fold, some for a stitch line I make mine 8x7 This was made back when i used 1mm thread and a 1'' punch. I do not use that big of thread or a punch anymore

BUSTED. You are correct, It was a check book cover in its other life. A cover that did not sell, SO... repurpose it. And it is now sold To a guy with initials BH Here is another that did not sell as a ck book cover but is already sold as a holster

Problem someone owns the parcel between his land and the rail road .

Hey guys. My nephew just bought some land that used to have an old saw mill on it many many years ago We found a old abandoned spur RR track in the woods. that is approx 300' long that equates to approx 600' of RR track If anyone is interested in some of this track let me know 3'' piece could be used as a weight to hold your leather in place 10'' piece would be a nice anvil, anything over 10'' might be costly to ship, $16.00 to ship a medium flat rate box MAX weight is 75 lbs

I also Think hand stitching is a better product on leather goods than rivets. BUT, When it comes to motorcycles EVERYONE knows that Chrome makes a bike go faster. The Leather color Black with Chrome is a tradition on Harley Davidson. It just IS. So In this instance, Mr Dwight has hit the nail on the head Nice bag by the way. VERY nice job

DAMN IT MAN. I have never shot a 10 gauge Man measurement was way off but it will give him a starting point to get to the right number
-
word of advice, position the strap so the lip on the rim of the shell does not ''bow'' the strap causing it to stretch the leather loop length for a 12 gauge strap is 2 1/2''' I imagine a10 gauge would fit that same loop??????? If looping, use a 1''' oblong punch at 1'' center to center on spacing, sew loop to belt in that center the drawing, i found that out the hard way

Axe sheath/ cover help
Frodo replied to DaveP's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
please do not sand the handle. the original patina is beautiful is the handle help in place with a wedge? remove wedge, separate wood from metal . soak the wood in linseed oil for 90 days then let it dry for 90 days use 0000 steel wool and oil on the metal ,Just to remove rust/dirt do not sand down and remove pitting or other blemishes wrap the handle with leather then a traditional blade cover with belt straps -
a 1x2 wrapped with black 2oz leather, the interior pockets hang off of it the space between the pockets is a spot that could be used to house concealed holster

Good idea. I think I can install feet that will act as chocks

At the big box store that rhymes with Wally Planet. In the arts and crafts isle you can buy a round wood plaque for like a buck. I picked up a couple and stared at them for about 6 months. Then i had a thought. A cylinder bag, with the wood things as the end caps I have not made the shoulder strap as of yet. But i am going to use ''Uncle Mikes" rifle strap attachments. What do you think of this idea?

I n agree with Dwight. drill bits and Dremel's burn the leather or actually the rivet gets hot and burns the leather
