  1. Mike, That image is of a Full Auto Edger not a Semi-Auto [Full Auto] You dip it into the container one time then use till it runs out. [Semi-Auto] would require multiple dips

  6. This is he same motor i ordered, It will use a belt Matt, I believe you are correct in that i need a Industrial machine. I get it, and later on.when money allows, I will most likely go that route. Right now,Cash is tight, So It is what it is I will start a build thread when the parts come in Gymnast I plan on discarding the 3'' pulley replacing it with a 2'' pulley and adding a 10'' pulley at the machine. I believe this will slow the motor down to a crawl if i choose WITH Torque [maybe]
  7. i have made up my mind after hours watching youtube. going to buy the patcher and a servo motor, with a 2'' pulley and adding a 10'' pulley to the machine I ''think'' between the singer 66 and the patcher I can make army surplus area correct bags like these and canvas holster

  12. let me get this straight, you said yourself that you thought you were guilty of hijacking this thread. Then when i said start your own thread. you are hijacking this thread. You become highly agitated And deny high jacking the thread. So which is it? Every one is confused BTW, I you made me laugh at the "Maybe reported them to the moderators?" comment. I thought that was funny as hell.

  19. JLSleather, do you know a welder that has a mig machine? some stainless steel nails welded onto a piece of stainless for a handle and you have a quality chisel you might want to use a 14 or 16 gauge nail
  20. Hello Dantan, I am not an expert by a long shot, BUT, I have experienced the same thing. and it caused a day of head scratching and cursing. what i found is that my needle thread tension is set just right on the thinner leather but when i went to a thicker leather the tension needed to be loosened just a tweak. i keep a strip of leather next to my machine that i use to check the tension of the needle thread, i never adjust the bobbin tension also. I use brass eye screws to route my thread from the roll to the machine. it reminds me of inspector gadget's set up but it stops the twisting
