I need a longer snap here is the finished watch band less the longer snap

    stiffner

maybe i did not ask this question correctly . I do not know the correct name of the corner I am making. it is 2 pieces of leather placed finished side to finished side sewn together then turned inside out to reveal a folded seam with out stitches showing. what i want to do, is add a thin strip of metal or rubber tubing, in that seam, to help stiffen the corner i know what i want to do, i do not know how to incorporate the stiffener into the seam and am seeking suggestions from those that may have the knowledge i am lacking below is the seam and the seam with the stiffener held together by hand
  5. I am going to be making a range bag for a guy, using some soft calf skin I am going to add a 1/4'' piece of plywood on the bottom The sides puzzle me. Would it be possible to add a thin piece of plastic tubing inside the edge of the bag, to make it stiff but not hard? the bag will be 24'' x 12'' x 12'' has anyone done this?

  15. rdl123 Beautiful work, I have been on crutches and understand the use for this. OFF TOPIC I had a small accident and was reduced to a walker. Opening day was coming up and the Doctor told me I CAN NOT go into the woods because of the danger of falling. So I red-necked my walker, and went for an office visit.. he laughed shook his head. and said go ahead. i can not stop you. i pushed this thing 100 yards to a deer stand at 3am. could not climb up the tree so i sat on the ground. bagged a 6 point around 7 am. and drug the damn thing out to the road in my shop my redneck walker with a 6.5x55 M94 swede

  19. I am sick and tired of clamps and little nails, push pins etc. So, I cut a piece of plywood the width of the template plus the width of the leather and pushed this template over the leather onto my template no screws needed, no clamps, the tightness hold it in place. easy peezy picture below is the board over the leather and template
