Very interesting reading the different methods others on this extension I would cut and skive the middle of the belt. glue and sew in the extension cut a strip to overlay the whole length . glue/sew the strip to the belt. i would not over lay the backside of the belt

This is my Chinese shoe patcher build thread. I t will be an ongoing thread till the machine is built, then I will post a youtube of it running my intent. build motor driven patcher.. Fix all the bugs that are supposedly wrong with the machine I have ordered the sewing machine. It will be here this week, So the amazonians claim. it is a Uttiny machine the cost is $109.99. It was a gift from a friend The motor is a Enduro. The cost $114.50. I traded some silver I had for the motor The motor arrived yesterday. I removed the 3'' pulley I machined a 1 1/2'' pulley to fit the shaft.

Am I the Only Fool to Order One of These???
Frodo replied to NewfoundlandLaw's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
Mike, That image is of a Full Auto Edger not a Semi-Auto [Full Auto] You dip it into the container one time then use till it runs out. [Semi-Auto] would require multiple dips -
Thanks for the encouragement, I love building stuff.

This is he same motor i ordered, It will use a belt Matt, I believe you are correct in that i need a Industrial machine. I get it, and later on.when money allows, I will most likely go that route. Right now,Cash is tight, So It is what it is I will start a build thread when the parts come in Gymnast I plan on discarding the 3'' pulley replacing it with a 2'' pulley and adding a 10'' pulley at the machine. I believe this will slow the motor down to a crawl if i choose WITH Torque [maybe]

i have made up my mind after hours watching youtube. going to buy the patcher and a servo motor, with a 2'' pulley and adding a 10'' pulley to the machine I ''think'' between the singer 66 and the patcher I can make army surplus area correct bags like these and canvas holster

Sewing Machine Purchases and Questions
Frodo replied to MzVictoria's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
'' immediately invested some of it into another head, this time a 29k71 with a motor. I've been tinkering with it and can't get it to stitch right, it leaves heavy marks from the feet, plus it leaks oil.'' Are you wanting to sell the 29K71 that marks with the feet and leaks oil? -

let me get this straight, you said yourself that you thought you were guilty of hijacking this thread. Then when i said start your own thread. you are hijacking this thread. You become highly agitated And deny high jacking the thread. So which is it? Every one is confused BTW, I you made me laugh at the "Maybe reported them to the moderators?" comment. I thought that was funny as hell. -

get a - 2x6 board 6'' longer than your longest belt using a table saw, cut a slot 1/4'' wide x 1'' deep the measurement of your longest belt do not cut the slot all the way, it will act as a stop affix a 1'' wood dowel to your drill, and burnish them all at the same time -
