Here is a pair of chinks that came out of the shop today. The bodies are Bucktan From the Hide House. Yokes and Side panels are 7/8 H.O. light oil and Light brown Fiebings antique. These Conchos are Horshoe Brand from Weaver (Jerimiah Watt) I really like them I think I will use them more, the are a real nice Heavy concho for half the price of Tandy's and they look a heck of lot nicer too. The fringe is twisted up on these ones. This is the first time I have had a pair hold a twist this tight and to be honest I hope it loosens up just a little. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions just ask and I will answer to the best of my ability. Thanks for stopping by. Tim Worley TK Leather

Look Good Rand. Got any pics that are a little closer so I can see some more detail? I cant tell if the fringe is twisted or not and I cant see the tooling but they sure look great from distance I wanna see how great they look up close. Good work buddy Tim Worley TK-Leather

I know that you arent happy with them but I sure like em. I think that your style is just that, Your style. I sure like your style. I strive to tool as well as half of you guys on here.

Here are some 8x10 frames that are wrapped in 6 oz bucktan that I had left over from some chinks. Corners are tooled using 7/8 ho. They did not turn out quite as good as I wanted them to but the next ones will be much better. I am not happy with the tooled pieces at all so that is where I really need to work. the patterns are a heck of alot smaller than I am used to working with and I am not skilled enough for them yet apparently. I like the way the chap leather turned out though. Tell me what you all think. Tim Worley TK-Leather

Thats Kinda funny since its the same thing. I was told that they get it from LCI with their own lable on it just like tandy did. Neat lac was Tandy's name for it. so far I can not tell a difference. Tim

I know that this is not news to alot of you but I just wanted to let some of you all know, since it seems every other thread about finishes, (mine included for a while),someone is asking for a Neat-Lac replacement. Now I know of a few outfits that you can get it from but the one that I chose was Sheridan Leather, Thier product is called Wyoshene and it is the same as Neatlac with a different sticker on the front. I paid 15.95 for a quart of the stuff and I am extremely pleased. Just thought that I would pass on the Info. Tim Worley TK-Leather If anyone else has any others feel free to post as I will not think any one is Hijacking just want to get some info out there.

Hey guys and gals, Here are some Christmas presents that I made up. I know that they are not Leather but they are western. FEEL FREE TO MOVE IF NEEDED. Some pictures first with the lights off And now with the lights on These are all fifth size bottles and the two on the outside are a square shade but you cant tell that from the pictures. I have made about a dozen of these but they all got shipped before I got a chance to take a picture of any of them, The half gallon ones are just awsome evem with a plain shade and no art. Sorry I dont have any pictures of those but feel free to let me know what you think of em anyway. Tim Worley TK-Leather

Well here are two pairs of chinks that I have just finished up. The white and pink ones are for my daughter for Christmas, she is 3 so she will be pretty excited to have her own pair of chinks like daddy. The leather for both pair is from the hide house. The second pair are a bone body with bucktan fringe with a black trim punched with oblong holes. The yokes and side panels are 7/8 oz H.O. with a fairly heavy oil. Tell me what you all think and what you would have done different. The conchos on the Bone chinks are from Jerimiah Watt via Weaver AKA horshoe brand, I am pretty impressed with these as they are a heck of alot nicer than anything you can get at Tandy for Literally HALF the price. Tell me what you all think Tim Worley TK-Leather Stay tuned I have two more pair in process

Looks good as usual. I like the shark it really sets it off. Good work. Tim Worley -
One thing about the Gomph knives that you may want to consider, I met with Lonnie at Pendleton and was informed that they will not be making the knives that they are anymore. And at that time they had no more of the smaller knives. Tim Worley

Looks real good Elton, Glad to see you have it set up. Where are you gonna put your metal working shop now? I really like how your tool racks turned out. Looks good all the way around. Tim Worley

GOOD LUCK, Your story sounds almost Identical to mine. I had my first shoulder surgeryon august 26 2008 and the second one on Febuary 20 2009. For what its worth they tell me I am now at Maximum mediacal improvement and I still cant hardly get my wallet out of my pocket or scratch the back of my head. I feel your pain both mentally and physically and I hope you have a better experience than I had. Tim Worley TK-Leather -

Well I wish I could give you an answer about the carving but I just tried my new knife so I am thinking that I finally got a sharp blade that I seem to really like. I would think that it would help because of the oils and whatnot but I am not sure. Tim Worley TK-Leather
