  1. The taller one looks great. It's a very classy design, as @fredk already mentioned. The part you had to stretch becomes a straight cylinder and that also adds to the overall look. Plan that when you make the next one and you won't have to stretch it there. No stitch separation that way. Or stretch it before you stitch it and the seam will stay tight.
  2. I like your 10-rd pouches. They are a good design.. They're reminiscent of an M1876 McKeever Cartridge Box.
  3. Pretty cool. I look forward to seeing what you do for number four.
  4. Clean design. Looks nice.
  5. Looks good. It's the first one I've seen with a bottom piece riveted on. That should help it keep its shape.
  6. You can give him camera ready artwork and he'll make a custom stamp of it.
  7. If this takes off, you can get a Delron maker's stamp made at Grey Ghost Graphics for a reasonable price. I have a couple of his and they're really good quality. I also have a steel one but I paid dearly for it. I used to smack them with a mallet but these days I press them into the leather with my drill press (off, of course). Obviously, the one on the left is the Delron one.
  8. Looks like a pretty nice sheath. Your friend should be mighty happy. My calipers don't have it that good. LOL.
  9. If people want them and you can provide them, it's a business proposition. Your cozy idea is a fun one. People like hand made items and leather has a quality feel to it. Keep your invested time reasonable and make some extra bucks. I personally like your simpler, uncluttered designs. In advertising art the white space (un-decorated area) is as important as the design. Too much detail takes away from the design effectiveness. I think the idea has potential. Keep making them and see where it goes. By the way, what does the seam side look like?
  10. A smaller stamp would look really good on it. Barry King has small stamps or you could make your own, they're not too hard if you have a decent set of Swiss files.
  11. That's a good choice. I've attached straps to the skirt with Chicago Screws, rivets (copper and speedy) and stitching. Chicago screws are my choice unless I'm making a holster that's historically correct.
  12. I just looked at the photos again and realized my previous post was in error. I see the bill holder is on the outside of it. It's a very cool design.
  13. Nice, that's a good design. The magnetic bill holder is nice but I might also be tempted to make it to completely cover the bills. Very nice wallet.
  14. Cool way to make one. I'll have to think about trying that on the right item.
  15. Looks good. Did you make the concho? It's pretty cool.
  16. Just about any color will work, of course. I can see why you don't want them too different for the sisters. That's not only makes them happy, but it saves wear and tear on you. : )
  17. If you can find one that matches the two-tone rope look, it could be really good. I don't think just any silver keeper will do the trick. But with the right one, Bingo!
  18. Very fine looking belt. The buckle is an eye-catcher. Like you said, it makes the belt look great.
  19. The changes actually make it look better. What color eye/nose stitching and "hair" will the next ones get?
  20. I'm going to try this on one. It leaves your thumb in a better position after separating the snap.

    Ammo pouch

I like this one a lot. Attractive, clean design. A molded front always looks good on small pouches like this. Nice, nice, nice!
  22. That is a fine holster. A skirted holster always looks good IMO. Nice, even BW and clean border stamping. The only visual thing I'd do different would be to put your border stamping around the skirt and something similar on the strap top tie it all together. You could even do the BW on the skirt but it wouldn't be worth the effort. Here are a couple ideas to play with for your next one: A thumb break would go nicely on one like that if you stitch or rivet it on. Also, you could keep the skirt tighter to the shape of the holster pouch.
  23. Looks good. I like the functional simplicity. Nice work.
  24. Thanks. I'll look for them.
  25. That's a mighty good sheath design. Clean, functional, classy. I also like that clip. It looks like it is reversible for left or right wear. Is that correct? It also looks like it would work good in a boot. So where did you get that clip?
